摘要： An insulin injection needle with needle tip protection has a needle body, needle base, main cover and outer sheath. The main cover is provided with the trigger tube, front casing and spring. The trigger tube is used to protect the injection section of needle body before use and the front casing is used to protect the injection section of needle body after use. Before use, the trigger tube extends out of the main cover and is in the state of protecting the needle, and the front casing is in the main cover; after, the trigger tube is in the main cover and the front casing extends out of the main cover and protects the needle. The unlocking of trigger tube and front casing correlate with injection readiness and the tail cover and needle base trigger the unlocking of trigger tube and front casing during the installation.

The cone flares out ring-ward to a widest part (631) of the conical portion (15), at a ringward end (500) of the molded body to an annular surface (510) at the widest part (631) of the conical portion (15). The cartridge needle (531) has a molded support located tip-ward of the annular surface (510). A needle shaft (514) is at a central longitudinal axis of the molded body (14B). The needle (14A) passes through needle shaft.

摘要： A portable auto-injector configured to store a dry medication separately from a liquid component, wherein removal of a cap operates a first actuation mechanism which opens a sliding valve and thus allows for the initiation of a mixing step prior to injection. An extendable needle guard is provided over the delivery assembly which prevents premature injection as well as inadvertent sticks or other cross contamination of a needle. The needle guard can also form part of a secondary trigger mechanism which injects the mixed components after the mixing stage is complete.

摘要： An auto-injector device for administering a liquid pharmaceutical composition, in which an end-user can select between doses that the device is capable of delivering. The end-user choices that translate into the selected doses can be based on end-user perceived severity of symptoms, end-user weight and other such factors. In some embodiments the auto-injector is configured to administer the one chosen dose only. In other embodiments, the auto-injector can deliver second and subsequent doses up to full dose of the pharmaceutical composition disposed in the injector. The auto-injector can provide visual, audio, and tactile feedback, alone or in combination, to the user to indicate the dose selected, instructions for use, and when the dose has been administered.

摘要： A safety needle device includes a housing including a passageway with a needle cannula extending therefrom. A shielding member is movable between a first position in which a puncture tip of the needle cannula is exposed therefrom and a second position in which the puncture tip of the needle cannula is encompassed therein. The shielding member is maintained in the first position against a biasing force which biases the shielding member toward the second position. A fluid and/or a temperature activation material is associated with the shielding member and is adapted to deform upon contact with a fluid medium and/or a certain temperature or temperature range. The fluid medium flowing through the needle cannula causes the fluid activation material to deform, such as through expansion, thereby releasing the shielding member from the first position and allowing a drive member to bias the shielding member toward the second position.

The latch is moved to its latch state by a magnetic force (56).
