    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a user equipment (UE) to receive a configuration for a plurality of groups of sounding reference signal (SRS) ports associated with an SRS resource, the configuration indicating one or more cyclic shift parameters for each group of SRS ports of the plurality of groups of SRS ports. The UE also can transmit one or more SRSs using at least one group of SRS ports of the plurality of groups of SRS ports based at least in part on the one or more cyclic shift parameters associated with the at least one group of SRS ports.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a set of binary sequences, each binary sequence in the set of binary sequences indicating a number of candidate sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission occasions for a time period, wherein a first value for a location in a binary sequence indicates that an SRS is to be transmitted for an SRS transmission occasion corresponding to the location and a second value for the location in the binary sequence indicates that the SRS is not to be transmitted for the SRS transmission occasion corresponding to the location. The UE may select a binary sequence from the set of binary sequences based at least in part on a pseudo-random sequence. The UE may transmit the SRS in accordance with the selected binary sequence.     Abstract: A UE may receive a first indication of a mapping of a plurality of layers to a c-CW and a p-CW from a network entity, indicating that the c-CW corresponds to at least one first layer of the plurality of layers and the p-CW corresponds to at least one second layer of the plurality of layers. The plurality of layers, the c-CW, and the p-CW may be associated with rate-splitting for MIMO communication. The UE may identify a first set of modulated symbols and a second set of modulated symbols that are mapped to the at least one first layer and the at least one second layer, respectively, based on the first indication. The UE may perform a decoding process for at least one of the c-CW or the p-CW based on at least one of the first set of modulated symbols or the second set of modulated symbols.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for wireless communication are provided. An example method may include receiving a radio resource control (RRC) communication from a second network node, where the RRC communication configures a set of cell-specific reference signal (CRS) resource elements (REs). The method may further include receiving a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) configuration from the second network node, the DM-RS configuration configures a set of DM-RS REs associated with a PDCCH. A first subset of DM-RS REs in the set of DM-RS REs may overlap with the set of CRS REs in a time domain and a frequency domain. The method may further include communicating with the second network node based on one or more DM-RS REs in the set of DM-RS REs associated with the PDCCH, where the first subset of DM-RS REs is excluded from the one or more DM-RS REs.
