In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a registration request for restricted access (RA), wherein the registration request selectively includes an onboarding access request. The UE may selectively communicate with an onboarding network to authenticate and authorize a particular network based at least in part on whether the registration request includes the onboarding access request. The UE may complete the RA registration after transmitting the registration request and based at least in part on selectively communicating with the onboarding network to authenticate and authorize the particular network.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of one or more standalone nonpublic network (SNPN) roaming groups, associated with a network to which the UE is subscribed, and one or more SNPNs to which the UE is not subscribed. The UE may determine that a transmission from an SNPN identifies an SNPN roaming group identifier associated with one of the one or more SNPN roaming groups or identifies an SNPN identifier associated with one of the one or more SNPNs. The UE may register with the SNPN based at least in part on determining that the transmission identifies the SNPN roaming group identifier or the SNPN identifier.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) associated with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in a cellular terrestrial network may establish a connection with a unified data management (UDM) entity for communications with an unmanned aerial system service supplier (USS). The UE, or an access and mobility management function (AMF), may receive a security configuration from the UDM entity in a non-access stratum transport message. The security configuration may include one or more security credentials that enable communications between the UE and the USS. The AMF may transmit an acknowledgement message indicating the UE successfully received the indication of the security configuration. The UDM may transmit a message to the USS based on receiving the acknowledgment message. The UE may transmit a registration request to the USS. The UE and the USS may communicate according to the security credentials of the security configuration.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless network may receive a message from a wireless device that is coupled with an aerial vehicle. The message may include a network identifier, an aerial identifier, and operational information for the aerial vehicle. The wireless network may send a message to an aerial function management system requesting that the aerial function management system authenticate an identity of the aerial vehicle. The wireless network may also request that the aerial function management system approve a flight path for the aerial vehicle. The wireless network may establish a data session with the wireless device based on an authentication of the aerial vehicle and an approval of the flight path.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A multicast architecture may support flexible change between unicast and multicast operations and may support additional traffic types (e.g., Internet Protocol and Ethernet traffic). For example, the multicast architecture may include transmitting data over a shared multicast radio bearer (MRB) and/or specific data radio bearers (DRBs), a multicast user plane function (UPF) for supplying the multicast data to a base station, multicast data from different radio access networks (RANs), protecting the multicast data through creating a group key, ciphering the multicast data sent on the MRB using the group key, and transitioning the multicast data from a source RAN to a target RAN.
