    Abstract: A power supply unit (PSU) housing configured to receive a PSU is disclosed. The PSU housing includes a top panel, a bottom panel opposite to the top panel, a first side panel, a second side panel opposite to the first side panel, and a PSU cover. The first side panel and the second side panel define a width of the PSU housing. The PSU cover extends along the width of the PSU housing. The PSU cover includes a first elongated plate and a second elongated plate, which are perpendicular to each other. The PSU cover is rotatable relative to the top panel, such that (i) in a first orientation, the first elongated plate of the PSU cover is above and parallel to the top panel, and (ii) in a second orientation, the second elongated plate of the PSU cover is about flush and parallel to the top panel.

    Abstract: A ruler device module is disclosed that includes top and bottom plates that are parallel, with the bottom plate defining a tray where the bottom plate extends beyond the top plate. The module further includes a pair of side plates on opposite sides of, and extending between, the top and bottom plate, with each side plate including a slot. Partitions are perpendicular to and between the top and bottom plates forming bays between adjacent partitions and the top and bottom plates. A handle structure is between the top and bottom plates and includes a handle configured to rotate between a recessed position and a use position. A nut structure is between the top plate and the bottom plate. The nut structure includes an aperture configured to engage a fastener of a chassis to secure the ruler device module to the chassis.

    Abstract: An electronic device includes a chassis housing one or more electronic components, a module configured to be inserted into a channel defined by the chassis, and an alignment mechanism disposed in the channel. The alignment mechanism has a body portion that defines an aperture. When the module is initially inserted into the channel in a first orientation, a first portion of the module passes over the aperture and compresses the body portion of the alignment mechanism along a first axis, to allow the module to be fully inserted into the channel. When the module is initially inserted into the channel in a second orientation, a second portion of the module passes through the aperture and does not compress the body portion of the alignment mechanism along the first axis, to prevent the module from being fully inserted into the channel.

    Abstract: An air-duct module for a server comprises a main body that includes an upper wall and a plurality of side walls extending downwardly away from the upper wall. The main body further includes a plurality of channel walls extending from the upper wall and defining a cable-routing channel located within the main body. The cable-routing channel receives an electronics cable that extends across the main body. The air-duct module has an air passage for guiding air across a heat exchanger within the server. The air-duct passage is defined by the upper wall, the plurality of side walls, and at least some of the plurality of channel walls.

    Abstract: A bracket for holding an electronic device in a carrier in a computing system is described. The bracket includes an outer plate and an inner compressible sleeve. The outer plate includes a front side and a back side. The inner compressible sleeve including a front section, a back section, and an aperture. The front section of the inner compressible sleeve is coupled to the back side of the outer plate. When the electronic device is inserted in the aperture, the electronic device compresses the inner compressible sleeve within the aperture. The bracket may also include a hole, on the outer plate, configured to mate with a fastener on the electronic device. The bracket also includes a protrusion on the outer plate. The protrusion prevents the electronic device from moving through the front side of the outer plate. The inner compressible sleeve of the bracket is a shock dampener.

    Abstract: An isolated vibration assembly for a computing device includes a top assembly having a top plate. The assembly further includes a base assembly having a base plate that is generally parallel to and offset from the top plate. A partition assembly is positioned generally perpendicularly between the top plate and the bottom plate, with two partition plates defining an internal space. A plurality of vibration isolators is attached in an interspersed manner to one or more surfaces of the top plate, the base plate, or the two partition plates. A computing device is removably installed within the internal space, generating vibrations that are reduced when passing through the plurality of vibration isolators.
