    摘要: A light source control device for an endoscope having a light source for emitting light to be incident on a light guide, a stop mechanism for varying the quantity of light to be incident on the light guide by interrupting an optical path of light, and a control device for controlling an opening of the stop mechanism. The stop mechanism includes a sensing device for sensing the opening of the stop mechanism and outputting a sensing signal to the control device. Further, the stop mechanism includes a shaft and a stop blade rotatably supported on the shaft and being disposed in the optical path such that the quantity of light passing thereby is varied by rotating the blade. The sensing device includes an arc-shaped plate fixed to the shaft and having a radius which varies in proportion to the change in arc angle, and a sensor having an opening for receiving the circumferential edge of the arc-shaped plate to sense the amount of light which passes through the opening.

The actuator moves the emission end in a direction perpendicular to an emission direction. The mirror is arranged from the emission end in the emission direction when the emission end is on a predetermined standard point. The mirror comprises a reflection surface around a first straight line. The distance between a first position on the first straight line to any second position on the reflection surface increases as the first position is moved in the first direction. The reflection surface reflects the radiant light emitted from the first transmitter toward the observation area around the first straight line.

    摘要: An electronic endoscope selector is used in an electronic endoscope system which shares peripheral devices, such as a TV monitor, VCR etc., among a plurality of electronic endoscopes. The electronic endoscope selector includes switching circuits for switching and selecting video signals and synchronizing signals fed from one of the plurality of electronic endoscopes in the system. The selector also has ON/OFF switches and a timer. The ON/OFF switch controls output of the selected video signals. When the switching circuits switch between the plurality of electronic endoscope and switch video signals and synchronizing signals to that of a newly selected electronic endoscope, the output of video signals are suspended during a predetermined period, by the timer. The synchronizing signals are output simultaneously with the above switching.

    摘要: An electronic endoscope system that shares peripheral devices, such as a TV monitor, VCR etc., among a plurality of electronic endoscopes via an electronic endoscope selector. Each of the electronic endoscopes is connected to the electronic endoscope selector and the electronic endoscope selector selectively switches between video signals of the electronic endoscopes and feeds them to the TV monitor. Further the electronic endoscope selector comprises image memories and is able to store an image captured by the electronic endoscopes. A stored image may be comparatively displayed on the screen of the TV monitor with the live video being captured by the selected endoscope units. Further, the comparative display is controlled by control buttons on the electronic endoscope. The electronic endoscope selector also comprises a memory for storing image parameters for each electronic endoscope, and adjusts images on the screen by utilizing the parameter for each electronic endoscope.
