    摘要: An apparatus for adjusting a differential probe includes a regulator arranged therein capable of adjusting a distance between two tips of the probe. The probe is supported on the apparatus. The apparatus includes a rotatable shaft and a rotatable disk. The rotatable shaft engages with the regulator of the probe. The rotatable disk is mounted surrounding the rotatable shaft and rotatable together with the rotatable shaft. An angular ruler or a radian ruler is described on an outer surface of the rotatable disk to indicate a rotation angle or a rotation radian of the rotatable shaft, therefore the distance between the two tips of the probe are accurately adjusted.

    摘要: A clamping apparatus includes a motor, a first cone gear secured to a shaft of the motor, and two clamping bodies attached to opposite sides of the motor. Each of the clamping bodies includes a second cone gear meshing with the first, a threaded post fixed to the second cone gear, a carriage threadedly connected with the threaded post, and a clamp arm fixed to the carriage. The motor rotates the first cone gear, and in turn the second cone gears and the corresponding threaded posts. With the rotation of the threaded posts, the carriages move towards or away from each other, whereby the clamp arms cooperatively acquire an object between the clamp arms, or release the object therefrom.

    摘要: A system for operating a differential probe which includes a first metal extension and a second metal extension having the same structures is disclosed. Each of the metal extensions includes a rotatable arm, a rotatable base, and a contact end. The rotatable base and contact end of each of the metal extensions extend from two ends of the corresponding rotatable arm at an angle, the contact ends and the rotatable bases of the metal extensions are parallel to each other. The system controls a mechanical arm to adjust a vertical distance between the contact ends to be equal to a required vertical distance by rotating the first metal extension around the rotatable base of the second metal extension clockwise by a rotated angle, and rotating the second metal extension around the rotatable base of the first metal extension counterclockwise by the rotated angle.

    摘要: In a method for testing serial attached SCSI (SAS) ports of a server using a computing device, the computing device connects to an oscilloscope and a mechanical arm that is equipped with a test fixture having a probe. The mechanical arm controls the probe to be plugged into one of the SAS ports. The method adjusts an intensity grade of the SAS signals through the SAS port, and controls the SAS port to generate a SAS signal corresponding to the intensity grade. The test fixture obtains the SAS signal from the SAS port, and the oscilloscope measures test parameters of the SAS signal. The method analyzes values of the test parameters to find an optimal SAS signal, determines an intensity grade of the optimal SAS signal as a driving parameter of the SAS port, and accordingly generates a test report of the SAS ports.

    摘要: In a method for optimizing an order in which certain points on a circuit board can be tested and evaluated, a coordinate system is established in a circuit diagram of a circuit board, and at least one locating point is preset. When an operator selects a signal path routing within the circuit diagram, the method can display the testing points in the selected signal path routing on a display device. After calculating the distance between each of the testing points and each of the at least one locating point, a group of distances is obtained. By comparing the distances, the minimum distance can be determined from the group of distances. The method further optimizes the order of the testing points according to the distance between each of the testing points and the locating point that consists of the minimum distance.
