Abstract: A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a substrate including a first area, a second area, and a first bending area located between the first and second areas. The first bending area is bent about a first bending axis extending in a first direction. The display device also includes a first inorganic insulating layer arranged over the substrate and having a first opening or a first groove at least in the first bending area, an organic material layer filling at least a part of the first opening or the first groove, and a first conductive layer extending from the first area to the second area across the first bending area and located over the organic material layer.

Abstract: An OLED device includes a substrate having a display region including a pixel region and first and second peripheral regions surrounding the pixel region. A bending region is between the display region and the second peripheral region. A buffer layer has a first opening exposing an upper surface of the substrate. A plurality of pixel structures is disposed in the pixel region on the buffer layer. An insulation layer structure is disposed on the buffer layer. The insulation layer structure has a second opening exposing an upper surface of the substrate that is disposed in the bending region and a first portion of the buffer layer that is disposed adjacent to the bending region. A fan-out wiring is disposed between two adjacent insulation layers of the plurality of insulation layers. The fan-out wiring is disposed in the first peripheral region and/or the second peripheral region.

A fan-out wiring is disposed between two adjacent insulation layers of the plurality of insulation layers. The fan-out wiring is disposed in the first peripheral region and/or the second peripheral region.

Abstract: A display apparatus may include a substrate having a first bending area between a first area and a second area, the first bending area to be bent with a first bending axis that extends along a first direction, as a center; a first inorganic insulating layer on the substrate and having a first opening corresponding to the first bending area; a first organic material layer filling at least a portion of the first opening; and a first conductive layer that extends from the first area to the second area through the first bending area and is on the first organic material layer. The first organic material layer may have a concavo-convex surface at least in a portion of an upper surface thereof. At least a portion of the first conductive layer may extend along a third direction forming an angle of about 0° to about 90° with the first direction.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display apparatus that is capable of reducing manufacturing costs and a defect rate during manufacturing, and a display apparatus. The method includes forming a plurality of display units over a mother substrate; attaching a temporary protective film to a lower surface of the mother substrate; cutting the mother substrate and the temporary protective film along a periphery of each of the plurality of display units to obtain a plurality of display panels, each including a first area, a second area, and a bent area between the first area and the second area; removing the temporary protective film from the plurality of display panels; and attaching a lower protective film to a lower surface of each of the plurality of display panels so as to correspond to the first area in each display panel.

Abstract: A display apparatus including a substrate having a display area in which a display device is provided to display an image, and a non-display area around the display area. The non-display area includes a bending area that is bent about a bending axis; an encapsulation layer arranged above the display area; a touch electrode arranged above the encapsulation layer; a touch wire connected to the touch electrode and extending to the non-display area; and a fan-out wiring connected to a signal wiring that applies electric signals to the display area. At least a portion of the fan-out wiring is arranged in the bending area, and the fan-out wiring includes the same material as the touch wire.
