    Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes a substrate including a plurality of pixels, each pixel having a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel; a pixel electrode including a first pixel electrode formed in a region corresponding to the first sub-pixel and a second pixel electrode formed in a region corresponding to the second sub-pixel on the substrate; a common electrode including a first common electrode formed to be spaced from the first pixel electrode and a second common electrode formed to be spaced from the second pixel electrode on the substrate; and a thin film transistor formed on the substrate to be electrically connected to the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode.

    Abstract: A display device includes a first pixel connected to a gate line, a data line, and a storage line for transmitting a storage signal of which a voltage level is changed at least once for one frame. The first pixel includes first, second, and third subpixels. The first subpixel includes a first switching element connected to the gate and data lines, a first liquid crystal capacitor connected to the first switching element, and a first storage capacitor. The second subpixel includes a second switching element connected to the gate and data lines, a second liquid crystal capacitor connected to the second switching element, and a second storage capacitor. The third subpixel includes a third switching element connected to the gate and data lines, and a third liquid crystal capacitor connected to the third switching element. The first and second storage capacitors are connected to the storage line.

    Abstract: A display device improves horizontal crosstalk and an aperture ratio, and includes: a substrate; a gate line and a data line formed on the substrate; a thin film transistor connected to the gate line and the data line; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; a light block overlapping the thin film transistor on the pixel electrode; a light block passivation layer overlapping the thin film transistor and the data line on the light block; a common electrode formed on the pixel electrode, spaced apart from the pixel electrode with a plurality of microcavities interposed therebetween; a roof layer formed on the common electrode; an injection hole exposing a part of each of the plurality of microcavities; a liquid crystal layer filling the plurality of microcavities; and an encapsulation layer formed on the roof layer covering the injection hole to seal the microcavity.
