    摘要: A color sorting apparatus for beans includes a transferring device for transferring beans to be sorted to a detection position, an illuminating device for illuminating the bean at the detection position, a light receiving device for receiving a transmitted light transmitted through the bean and outputting a detection signal, a control device for operating the detection signal, comparing the detection signal operated with a predetermined threshold value to determine whether the bean is a good or defective one, and outputting an ejection signal when the bean is determined as a defective one, and a sorting device for removing the defective bean based on the ejection signal. The transferring device includes two endless belts defining therebetween a parallel gap on which the beans are held and a driving motor for driving the endless belts. The illuminating device is provided below the parallel gap defined by the two endless belts and the light receiving device is provided at a position opposite to the illuminating device with the bean being interposed therebetween. As the beans are stably transferred to the detection position, the detection signals based on the transmitted light from the beans are stably obtained without being influenced by the transferring device.

    摘要: A vertical milling machine comprises a first milling part and a second milling part situated under the first milling part, the first and second milling parts having a common main shaft extending vertically. The first milling part has a supply part of grain on an upper end side thereof and a discharge pare of grain having been milled in the first milling part on a lower end side thereof. The second milling part has a supply part of grain to be milled in the second milling part on a lower end side thereof and a discharge part of grain having been milled in the second milling part on an upper end side thereof. The grain discharge part of the first milling part is communicated with the grain supply part of the second milling part through a grain transfer passage extending therebetween. Thus, degree of milling (degree of whitening) in the first and second milling parts can be adjusted individually without difficulty by provision of resistance means individually with respect to the discharge parts of the first and second milling parts.

    摘要: An abrasive type vertical grain milling machine comprises a perforated cylindrical body which serves to define an outer periphery of a grain milling chamber and which has a plurality of vertically arranged resistance members projected radially into the grain milling chamber so as to impart resistances to motions of the grains in a circumferential direction of an abrasive type roll assembly, an amount of projections of each of the resistance members being made to be adjustable, and further has projection amount adjusting mechanisms for adjusting independently the respective amounts of projection in the radial direction of the plural resistance members located in different vertical positions, and therefore, it is possible to adjust independently the resistance imparted to the motions of the grains within the grain milling chamber in each of the upstream-side region and downstream-side region of the grain milling chamber.

    摘要: A quality evaluation method for granular objects includes the steps of: irradiating objects from a front side and a back side; taking a reflection light image and a transmission light image from both the front and back sides of the objects; obtaining optical information of the objects by image-processing the reflection and transmission light images; obtaining shape information of the objects based on the optical information; determining the quality of each of the objects based on the optical information and the shape information; and counting the numbers of objects per quality and obtaining ratios of the objects per quality against the total number of objects. The data from the front and the back sides of the granular object are analyzed to enhance the precision of the results of the quality analysis, and in particular, to enhance the precision in detecting cracks.
