Abstract:
Anchoring mechanisms for releasably securing an intravascular device along an elongated member such as a guidewire or catheter. The anchoring mechanism may include an object that can be actuated between an unlocked position and a locked position. In the unlocked position, the anchoring mechanism is slidably and rotationally disposed about the elongated member. In the locked position, the anchoring mechanism is releasably secured to the elongated member, preventing movement thereon. A placement mechanism such as a tubular member can be utilized to actuate the anchoring mechanism between the unlocked and locked positions.
Abstract:
A control circuit for a delay-lock loop having a delay line and a phase detector is used in a memory device. In a standby mode, the control circuit isolates a reference clock signal from the delay-lock loop to save power unless a clock signal generated by the loop is needed for a memory operation. However, the reference signal is periodically coupled to the delay line for a sufficient period to achieve a locked condition. As a result, the phase of the output signal from delay-lock loop can be quickly locked to the phase of the reference signal when a memory operation is to occur during a normal operating mode. When transitioning between the standby mode and the normal operating mode, the control circuit couples the reference clock signal to the delay line for at least a predetermined period of time.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are disclosed for scheduling jobs to insertion machines. In one embodiment, the system comprises a communications interface to receive an insertion machine job and a data store to store the insertion machine job and setup information for a plurality of insertion machines, the setup information including job configuration information for jobs scheduled to the insertion machines. Logic is communicatively coupled with the data store and is configured to evaluate each of the insertion machines based at least in part on the setup information and one or more criteria associated with the insertion machine job, to select one of the insertion machines based on the evaluation, and to schedule the insertion machine job to the selected insertion machine.
Abstract:
Collapsible container formed from a flat, unitary plastic blank includes a front panel having opposite sides; a pair of side panels, each foldably connected to respective sides of the front panel and folded at substantially right angles to the front panel. Each side panel has a foldable rear panel folded at a substantially right angle to the respective side panel. One rear panel includes a locking slot and the other rear panel has a foldable locking tab inserted inside such slot to secure such rear panel to the other rear panel. Side panels have respective foldable bottom panels folded at a substantially right angle to respective side panels. One bottom panel includes a securing tab extending therefrom and the other bottom panel includes a securing slot into which such securing tab is inserted to secure the bottom panels together.
Abstract:
A unitary flat blank forming a collapsible reclosable container includes: rear panel, having a pair of side portions, a top panel foldably connected to the rear panel and a cover member foldably connected to top panel and foldable downwardly to a closed position. A bottom panel is foldably connected to the rear panel. A front panel has side portions, foldably connected to the bottom panel and a pair of spaced side panels is foldably connected to respective side portions of the front panel. A pair of flaps is foldably connected to respective side portions. A pair of locking tabs is connected to respective side portions of rear portion. Each side panel has a locking slot for receiving a respective locking tab securing the front panel to rear panel to define a container.
Abstract:
The modular wrench with extendible shank includes at least one stubby wrench head segment having either an open end or a box end wrench head, and a truncated shank extending from the wrench head. A short connector sleeve having sockets defined in both ends that frictionally receive the truncated shank of the wrench head segment is provided so that two wrench heads may be attached to opposite ends of the sleeve to form an open end wrench, a box end wrench, or a combination wrench of standard size. Two elongated extension bars, e.g., a six-inch and a ten-inch bar, are provided, each extension bar having a stub projecting from one end that frictionally fits into the connector sleeve, and a socket defined in the opposite end that frictionally receives either the truncated shank of the wrench head or the stub of the other extension bar.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for monitoring printer usage in new and existing printer systems. In some cases, the systems include retrofitting a an existing printer and printer controlled combination. Such a retrofit can include a monitor coupled to the printer that is operable to provide an indication of status associated with the printer, and a microprocessor based system controller that includes a computer readable medium comprising instructions executable by the microprocessor to: receive an operator command; format the operator command into a command compatible with the printer and printer controller combination; provide the command compatible with the printer and printer controller combination to the printer controller; and receive the indication of status associated with the printer from the monitor. other methods and systems are also disclosed.
