摘要: Systems and methods for enhancing the cold-formability of Ti 6-24-2 sheet material are described herein. Embodiments of these methods comprise cold-forming a predetermined, pretreated Ti 6-2-4-2 alloy into a cold-formed shape; subjecting the cold-formed shape to a post-forming annealing cycle comprising: heating the cold-formed shape to about 1450±25 ° F.; holding the cold-formed shape at about 1450+25° F. for about 15±2 minutes; and cooling the cold-formed shape to room temperature. Embodiments of these methods further comprise subjecting the predetermined Ti 6-2-4-2 alloy to a pre-forming annealing cycle comprising: heating the predetermined alloy to a pre-forming annealing temperature of about 1550-1750° F.; holding the predetermined alloy at the pre-forming annealing temperature for about 30 minutes; and cooling the predetermined alloy to room temperature. These methods allow components comprising 90° bend angles, having a bend factor as low as about 6.2 T, to be achieved.

摘要: An apparatus and method for electrostatic spray deposition of small targets, such as medical devices like stents. The apparatus includes a target holder which applies a first electrical potential to the target, and an electrostatic dispensing nozzle which applies a second potential sufficient to attract the coating fluid from the nozzle toward the target. Because the entire dispensing nozzle is conductive, the coating fluid may receive a greater charge than may be obtained with internal electrode-type nozzles. Electrostatic attraction of the coating fluid to the target is enhanced by the combination of higher charge density imparted to the coating fluid by the conductive nozzle, and application of a momentary voltage spike to the target to provide consistent conductivity between the target and its holder, thereby ensuring the target is presents the full first potential applied to the holder. The voltage spike may also be used independently of the conductive nozzle.

摘要: A method for accurately analyzing the timing of a clock network on a piecemeal basis in an integrated circuit clock tree is presented. In accordance with the invention, the time delay of each individual subcircuit between an identified clock network node and an identified receiving endpoint may be individually determined. Tags are associated with the connection points of a child block and its parent block. A connection tool uses the tags to match up the connection points of the parent block to the respective connection points in the child block to allow a simulation tool to include the clock signal timing data of the child block in simulating the clock performance of the parent block.

摘要: Editing the parameters for several network devices coupled to a computer network can be a cumbersome task. To simplify the task, a method of editing parameter settings for more than one network device using a graphical user interface is introduced. First, a set of network devices is displayed on a display screen. Then, a user selects a set of network devices to edit parameters for. Next, a list of parameters for the selected network devices is displayed on a display screen. The parameters that have the same value for all the selected network devices are displayed on the screen. However, parameters that do not have the same value for all the selected network devices are not displayed on the screen. Instead, the field is usually left blank. A user can edit the parameter settings displayed on the screen. When a parameter modification is approved, the modified parameter value is sent to all the selected network devices.
