    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes at least one image forming unit, a primary transfer belt, and a secondary transferer. The image forming unit includes an image carrier and a primary transfer bias applicator. The secondary transferer includes a secondary transfer nip, a secondary transfer bias applicator, and a facing member facing the second transfer bias applicator. The secondary transfer bias applicator forms a secondary transfer electric field. The image forming apparatus further includes a bias applicator, a contact start site, and an electrode. The bias applicator applies a bias voltage having a same polarity as the normal charge polarity of the toner to the primary transfer belt, downstream of the primary transfer bias applicator. The recording medium starts to contact the toner image at the contact start site, located upstream of the secondary transfer nip, where the electrode forms an electric field.

    摘要: A steering control section has a first steering angle correction amount calculating section, a second steering angle correction amount calculating section, and a motor rotational angle calculating section. The first correction amount calculating section calculates a first correction amount based on a vehicle speed and an actual steering wheel angle. The second correction amount calculating section calculates a second correction amount through multiplying a control gain corresponding to the vehicle speed with a value calculated by low-pass filtering a differential value of steering wheel angle. The motor rotational angle calculating section calculates a motor rotational angle corresponding to the value adding the first and second steering angle correction amount, and outputs it to a motor driving section so as to drive an electric motor for correcting the steering angle. Thereby, an unstable vehicle behavior due to a resonance of a yaw motion caused in the steering operation can be suppressed.

An imaginary deviation line is set between a lane marking and the vehicle according to the estimated value of wakefulness (S55, S59, S62, S66), and an alarm is issued when the vehicle deviates from the imaginary deviation line. Since the alarm is issued when the vehicle is at a predetermined distance from the lane marking, alarming can be performed at substantially constant timing.

    摘要: In an image forming apparatus, a toner concentration sensor senses the concentration of a toner contained in a developer which is stored in a developing unit. A toner concentration controller controls a toner replenishing member in response to the output of the toner concentration sensor, thereby replenishing the toner from a toner container to the developing unit. Despite that a single toner concentration sensor is located in a position relatively close to a replenishing position, the apparatus insures stable image quality by effecting toner concentration control in harmony with the balance of toner in the entire developing unit.
