摘要: A splice tray holder includes a body with a first portion, a second portion, and a front surface. A retention portion is disposed on an outer periphery of each of the first and second portions and defines a receiving groove having an inner surface that faces toward the front surface of the body. A spring portion is disposed on each of the first and second portions, wherein the spring portion is adapted to provide a biasing force in a direction from the front surface of the body toward the inner surface of the receiving groove.

摘要: A brake assembly and system (202) characterized by the use of a flexible force transfer member (230) to enable an electric motor (220) to be mounted remotely from other brake components and preferably at a location shielded from the elements and/or more easily accessible for maintenance and repair. By mounting the electric motor (220) in a less confining area, and using a force distribution device (350) to distribute force to a plurality of rams (342,344), one larger motor (220) may be used to drive multiple disk engagement members rather than several smaller motors mounted on the brake assembly. Since larger motors are typically more efficient than smaller motors, using one larger motor increases the overall efficiency of the brake.

摘要: In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an optical interface unit provides an interface between an optoelectronic device and industry standard MTP/MPO connectors. The optical interface unit axially aligns the core of a fiber with the optoelectronic device and interfaces that fiber to the standardized connector. In addition, the optical interface unit further provides a standardized interface for visible contact connection between the individual fiber stubs and the terminated fibers in the standardized connector. The optical interface unit therefore maximizes coupling from the optoelectronic device with the standardized connector.

摘要: A surgical clamp for occluding a body conduit includes first and second jaws moveable relative to each other in a generally parallel relationship. A handle assembly is operable to move the jaws relative to each other between a space position and proximate position. The first jaw has an elongate configuration characterized by a length and a width. First portions of the first jaw have in cross section a first shape which remains generally constant in area along the first jaw, while second portions have in cross section a second shape which varies in area along the length of the first jaw. The resulting clamp has a low profile jaw design which dimensional-shaped cross section which provide increased stiffness and reduced flexibility.

摘要: A secure Internet Protocol (IP) telephony system, apparatus, and methods are disclosed. Communications over an IP telephony system can be secured by securing communications to and from a Cable Telephony Adapter (CTA). The system can include one or more CTAs, network servers, servers configured as signaling controllers, key distribution centers (KDC), and can include gateways that couple the IP telephony system to a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). Each CTA can be configured as secure hardware and can be configured with multiple encryption keys that are used to communicate signaling or bearer channel communications. The KDC can be configured to periodically distribute symmetric encryption keys to secure communications between devices that have been provisioned to operate in the system and signaling controllers. The secure devices, such as the CTA, can communicate with other secure devices by establishing signaling and bearer channels that are encrypted with session specific symmetric keys derived from a symmetric key distributed by a signaling controller.

摘要: A breather device connects to a vessel. The breather device inlets air to the vessel and filters the air upon inlet via a filter media, and exhausts air from the vessel. The vessel has a pressure that may vary and a low pressure threshold and a high pressure threshold. The breather device includes a housing, a cartridge removable from the housing for containing the filter media, an inlet check valve to the housing, the inlet check valve is selectively biased to prevent flows therethrough unless the pressure in the vessel falls below the low pressure threshold, an outlet check valve from the housing, the outlet check valve is selectively biased to prevent exhaust therethrough unless the pressure in the vessel exceeds the high pressure threshold, and a pressure gauge connected to the housing for measuring internal pressure in the vessel. The breather device can additionally include seals and/or an internal check valve between the filter media and the vessel. The internal check valve, if present, prevents exhaust air of the vessel from contacting the filter media.
