摘要: An imaging device includes a housing including first and second photographing apertures which are open toward opposite directions; an image pickup device provided in the housing; a main optical system forming incident light from the first photographing aperture onto an imaging surface of the image pickup device; and an insertable optical element movable between an insertion position in an optical path of a main optical system and a removed position out of the optical path of the main optical system, the insertable optical element constituting at least a part of a sub-optical system which forms incident light from the second photographing aperture onto the imaging surface when at the insertion position. When the insertable optical element is positioned in the insertion position, the sub-optical axis is offset from the main optical axis toward the removed position of the insertable optical element in the inserting/removing direction.

摘要: A retracting mechanism of a zoom lens barrel includes first, second and third lens groups, wherein the first and third lens groups are integrally moved along an optical axis during variation of a focal length, and wherein at least one of the first and third lens groups is moved relative to the other to reduce a distance therebetween when the zoom lens barrel is fully retracted. The retracting mechanism includes first, second and third lens group moving rings; a cam mechanism for independently moving the first and second lens group moving rings; a second lens group support frame; an intermediate member fixed to the second lens group support frame; and a biasing device for biasing the third lens group moving ring away from the first lens group moving ring. The biasing device functions between the intermediate member and the third lens group moving ring.

摘要: A beam splitter for a digital camera splits light passed through a photographing lens into beams directed to a CCD and a finder optical system. The beam splitter includes at least one optical element provided with a beam splitting surface that is inclined with respect to an optical axis of the photographing lens, and a multi-layer film including a plurality of layers of dielectric materials is formed on the beam splitting surface. The multi-layer film is configured such that the beam splitting surface exhibits a substantially constant reflectivity at least for visible light that is incident on the beam splitting surface at any incident angle within a predetermined range.

摘要: A lens barrel includes a movable lens frame and a cam ring for moving the movable lens frame in a direction of an optical axis via a movement of the cam ring which is rotatable about the optical axis and movable in the direction thereof. The lens barrel includes a stationary ring provided around, and coaxial with, the cam ring; a rotatable ring provided around, and coaxial with, the stationary barrel, the rotatable ring being driven to rotate about the optical axis. A cam follower extends radially outwards from the cam ring, and a cam through-slot and a rotation transfer groove which are formed on the stationary ring and the rotatable ring, respectively, so that the cam follower is engaged in the cam through-slot and corresponding rotation transfer groove. The cam through-slot includes a linear and an inclined slot portion.

摘要: A device in which an offset is added to a focusing error signal to control an objective lens and thereby reduce the generation of cross-talk when a beam spot that is converged on an optical disk crosses over a wall of a groove of a track of the disk. By adding the offset to the focusing error signal, the objective lens is moved out of focus with the disk. Thus, the shape of a beam spot formed on a photo sensor is changed from a circle to an ellipse. A condenser lens provided for forming the beam spot is moved along the optical axis thereof in such a manner that an output of a recorded signal of the disk is at a maximum value. As a result, the objective lens is brought into focus on the disk. Thereafter, the objective lens is focused on the disk in accordance with the focusing error signal to which the offset is added, while maintaining the beam spot in the shape of an ellipse.
