    摘要: A plasma display includes first and second substrates provided opposing one another. A plurality of first electrodes is formed on a surface of the first substrate facing the second substrate. A first dielectric layer is formed covering the first electrodes. A plurality of main barrier ribs is formed on a surface of the second substrate facing the first substrate, the main barrier ribs defining a plurality of discharge cells. A plurality of electrode barrier ribs is formed on the second substrate between the main barrier ribs. Phosphor layers are formed within the discharge cells, and discharge gas included in the discharge cells, where the main barrier ribs are formed integrally to the second substrate, and a second electrode and a second dielectric layer are formed, in this order, on a distal end of each of the electrode barrier ribs. A method of manufacturing the plasma display includes the processes of integrally forming a plurality of main barrier ribs on a plasma display substrate, the main barrier ribs defining a plurality of discharge cells, forming electrode barrier ribs between the main barrier ribs, forming an electrode on a distal end of each of the electrode barrier ribs, and forming a dielectric layer on each of the electrodes.

The valve drive control apparatus further includes an elastic deform member for defining the communication unit and the control medium storage chamber, a drive unit for pressuring the attenuation characteristic control medium so as to deform the elastic deform member via the attenuation characteristic control medium, and also a control unit for controlling the drive unit based on a drive control valve obtained from a valve drive characteristic representative of a relationship between a deform amount of a valve mechanism unit and a drive pressure value of the valve mechanism unit. The valve drive characteristic is acquired from a dynamic fluid characteristic of the fluid member and a dynamic fluid characteristic of the attenuation characteristic control medium.

    摘要: A polycarbonate resin composition comprising(a) 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate comprising(1) a repeating unit (I) represented by the following formula: ##STR1## and a repeating unit (II) represented by the following formula: ##STR2## wherein X.sup.1 to X.sup.4 are each a halogen atom and (2) a trihalogenophenoxy group as the end group thereof, the polycarbonate having viscosity average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000, and 1 to 10 mol % of the repeating unit (I) in the main chain and(b) 0.01 to 0.2 part by weight of an alkali metal salt or an alkaline earth metal salt of an organosulfonic acid. Accordingly, the polycarbonate resin composition is extensively and effectively used industrially in home electric appliances, office automation devices, construction materials and the like.

    摘要: Novel polycarbonate resins, a process for production of said polycarbonate resins, and compositions containing said polycarbonate resins and glass fibers as major components are disclosed. The polycarbonate resins have: (1) a repeating unit (I) represented by the general formula (A): ##STR1## and a repeating unit (II) represented by the general formula ##STR2## (all the symbols are as defined in the appended claims); (2) a pentahalogenophenoxy group as the end group thereof; and (3) a viscosity average molecular weight of at least 5,000. The polycarbonate resins are excellent in all of flame retardance, fluidity, impact resistance and transparency. Thus the polycarbonate resins and compositions containing them are useful for production of, e.g., moldings for which all the above characteristics are required.

    摘要: A plasma display panel with quick firing nature and high speed scanning having a plurality of display cells defined by parallel cathode electrodes and parallel anode electrodes perpendicular to said cathode electrodes. The cells along a cathode electrode discharge simultaneously either strongly or weakly according to the currents in the anode electrodes, and said current in the anode electrodes is switched according to the picture pattern to be displayed. A strongly discharged cell provides a bright large discharge which is visible through a cathode electrode, and a weakly discharged cell provides a dark small discharge which is blinded by a cathode electrode itself and is invisible, but merely functions as a seed cell for firing adjacent cells. As all the cells function both as display cells and seed cells, quick firing of cells or high speed scanning of light spots along the anode electrodes is accomplished although no specific seed electrode for mere seed discharge is provided. And, density of cells or resolution power of a picture of the present invention is improved, as no specific seed electrode is provided.
