    Abstract: A first electrode coolant path is configured to cool a first welding electrode by liquid coolant flowing from a supply path through the first electrode coolant path to a return path. A second electrode coolant path is configured to cool a second welding electrode by liquid coolant flowing from the supply path through the second electrode coolant path to the return path. Three or more valves are configured to stop or reduce liquid coolant flow through the first or second electrode coolant path and configured to stop or reduce liquid coolant backflow from the return path when the first or second welding electrode is at least partially detached. At least one valve is coupled in the first or second electrode coolant path. A drawback apparatus generates a suction force to draw liquid coolant away from a gap formed when the first or second welding electrode is at least partially detached.

    Abstract: A heat transfer system includes fluid transfer cells that vibrationally move a fluid and a thermally conductive cover that conducts heat from the cells while avoiding transfer of mechanical energy between the cells. A fluid transfer module includes outer and inner walls, a support member, and a membrane. The outer wall has an outer opening. The inner wall has an inner opening. The support member is disposed laterally on the inner wall such that a flow chamber is defined between the outer and inner walls. The membrane is supported by the support member along the outer wall. A fluid transfer module includes an inlet port and an actuator. The actuator undergoes vibrational motion and has first and second vibrational modes. The first vibrational mode causes fluid to enter the inlet port. The second vibrational mode expels fluid from the inlet port, which reduces clogging of the inlet port.

    Abstract: Multiple diaphragm pumps are known in the art that are operated by compressed air and in which the valves are controlled by a slide element. The slide element is magnetically actuated without mechanical engagement involved in the actuation. This has the consequence that only a small amount of force can be applied which may not be sufficient due to static friction of the valve seal. The invention presents a hybrid solution which facilitates a mechanical actuation of a valve piston provided for valve control as well as a magnetic overcoming of a dead center that may be reached by the valve piston and the diaphragm piston that actuates the diaphragms of the multiple diaphragm pump.

    Abstract: An air pump with an external pressure release valve includes an air pump body, a flow channel seat and at least one air valve. The air pump body comprises a driving motor and at least one air bag group for generating air flow. The flow channel seat includes an airflow channel and a pressure release channel communicated with the airflow channel and extending to any side wall surface of the flow channel seat. The side wall surface includes an installation hole of an outlet of the pressure release channel. The installation hole includes a pressure release assembly arranged inside the pressure release channel. Because the air pump includes the pressure release channel, and the pressure release channel extends to any side wall surface, the air pump is respectively connected with different objects to be inflated, meanwhile, an assembler can more easily adjust the output air pressure of each air pump.
