Abstract:
A system and method for processing messages in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is provided. A processing service generates a snapshot of a message queue, which contains a plurality of messages to be processed by the ERP system. Each message has an associated conversation, identified by a unique combination of an endpoint, channel, and subconversation identifier. For each conversation, the processing service determines whether messages of the conversation are to be processed in serial or in parallel, based on the subconversation identifier of the conversation. When the messages of the conversation are to be processed in serial, a task is created to process the messages serially. Alternatively, when the messages of the conversation are to be processed in parallel, a task is created for each of the messages. The messages of each task are processed serially by the task, while each task is executed in parallel with other tasks.
Abstract:
The invention provides a green process for direct oxidation of a large number of substituted or unsubstituted cinnamaldehydes or cinnamyl alcohols into the corresponding alkyl or aryl cinnamates in one step. The process of the present invention is a convenient and efficient green process for the preparation of various aryl or alkyl cinnamates under conventional, microwave and ultrasound directly from cinnamaldehydes or cinnamyl alcohols in the presence of an oxidizing agent, catalyst and an alcohol, with or without an organic solvent. These esters are immensely important compounds in flavor, perfumery and pharmaceutical industries. There are several prior arts available for the preparation of cinnamic esters, but all of them suffer from deficiencies such as use of expensive reagents and catalysts, harsh reaction conditions, use of toxic chemicals and others. In contrast, the present methodology is extremely simple and involves reaction of the substrate with an oxidizing agent mixed with a homogeneous or heterogeneous catalyst and an alcohol with or without organic solvent by stirring at room temperature or refluxing or under microwave or ultrasound irradiation to get the requisite products.
Abstract:
A method for delivering a multimedia message to a mobile station in a cellular wireless environment, including a plurality of base stations whose cell coverage overlaps in determined overlapping regions and form a location area, and a base station control element in charge of transmitting said multimedia message from a core network switching element to said base stations, wherein upon reception of a location update message from the mobile station when entering said location area, the base station control element selects the base stations whose cells are likely to overlap the region where the mobile station is located and co-ordinates said base stations to simultaneously transmit the multimedia message to said mobile station. A cellular wireless system and a base station control element for transmitting a multimedia message according to the method above is also described.
Abstract:
A system for radio communication with mobile stations, the system being of the type enabling one or more network operators to manage respective distinct networks. Each network is constituted by geographical cells and has mobile stations travelling therethrough. Each cell of a given network is associated with a base station through which those mobile stations that are located in the cell and that are subscribers with the operator managing the given network can communicate. In its own network, each operator transmits a pilot data channel supplying each mobile station with pilot data enabling it specifically to log-on to the network. According to the invention, the system further comprises a super-network made up of geographical super-cells each associated with a super-basestation. Each super-basestation transmits a data signal carrying the pilot data channel of the, or each, operator. In addition, each mobile station receives and processes said data signal so as to extract therefrom the pilot data channel of the operator with which it is a subscriber.
Abstract:
The safe method of handing over a call set up with a mobile station (M) comprise the following cyclic steps:a following base station (B(n)) receives (ET3) UP data (DM) of the call in a following channel (CH2), which UP data is transmitted by the mobile station (M) in a current channel (CH1) to a current base station;the DOWN data of the call is transmitted (ET5) for a given duration (T) simultaneously both over said current channel (CH1) and over said following channel (CH2), from the current base station (B(n-1)) and from the following base station (B(n)) respectively as soon (ET4) as the propagation time difference (TA) between the respective instants at which said UP data is received by said current channel (CH1) and by said following channel (CH2) is less than a first predetermined threshold (S); andon expiry of said given duration (T), releasing (ET6, LIB) said call in said current channel, and validating said call in the following channel (CH2) as a new current channel.
Abstract:
In a mobile radio system including mobile terminals each terminal comprises, on the receiving side, a unit using the Viterbi algorithm for equalization or for decoding the received signals after demodulation. A decision device of this system calculates the mean and the standard deviation of the metrics of each branch of the Viterbi algorithm, determines a quality level of a transmission parameter corresponding to the results of this calculation and compares the estimated quality level and a required quality level of the parameter in order to produce a decision signal supplied to a decision unit which can modify one or more transmission characteristics.
Abstract:
A method is devoted to the transmission, via a wave-based transmission infrastructure (RC) using an access method relying on multiplexing that is at least time division multiplexing, of content from at least one channel, each piece of content being arranged into one base data layer and at least one enhancement data layer, respectively associated with different transmission time slices, and broken down into portions transmitted during the time slices respectively associated with their layers. This method comprises i) the insertion, in a chosen location of each portion of a base data layer to be transmitted, within a chosen network layer, of at least one learning sequence processed according to a configuration scheme identical to that used to process the enhancement data layer, and ii) upon receiving a portion of a base data layer of a piece of content within a terminal (TC), extracting the learning sequence inserted into a chosen network layer, then estimating the reception quality based on that extracted learning sequence, and allowing it to use the next portion of the content's the enhancement data layer whenever the estimated quality is above a chosen threshold.
Abstract:
A level shifter includes an output stage transistor and a level controller. The level controller receives a selection signal and provides a reference voltage at a gate terminal of the output stage transistor based on the selection signal. The output stage transistor, on being enabled by the reference voltage, provides a first level shifted output based on a first output reference voltage.
Abstract:
An output driver circuit includes first, second, third, and fourth transistors having a common current path, wherein a gate of the first transistor receives a first switching signal, a gate of the second transistor receives a first reference voltage, a gate of the third transistor receives a second reference voltage, and a gate of the fourth transistor receives a second switching signal, and wherein a first capacitor is coupled between the gate of the first transistor and the gate of the third transistor, a second capacitor is coupled between the gate of the second transistor and the gate of the fourth transistor, and an output signal is provided at a node coupling the second and third transistors.
Abstract:
A system and method for generating application code and an external interface for a service class, in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is provided. The system receives a definition of a service class from a user via a user interface tool. The definition of the service class specifies a query for the service class and operations that are to be enabled for the service class. The system automatically generates application code for the service class, which enables the service class to be used by an internal endpoint of the ERP system. The application code is customizable by the user; the user may add additional operations to the service class. In addition, the system automatically generates an external interface for the service class, which enables the service class to be used by an external endpoint of the ERP system without needing knowledge of the application code.
