摘要： The present invention discloses a disposable cleaning product for use in household cleaning or personal care applications. The cleaning product of the invention is a multi-layer laminate product and may include at least two distinct layers, an abrasive layer and an absorbent layer. The absorbent layer contains a sponge-like member optionally in combination with a plurality of cellulosic fibrous webs. The sponge-like member can be made from various materials. For example, in one embodiment, the sponge-like member comprises one or more layers of a spunbond web containing crimped, bicomponent filaments.

摘要： A disc assembly for use in, for example, an automatic transmission is disclosed. The disc assembly includes a pair of spaced core members (15-16, 25-26, 36-37, 56-57). A friction facing (17-18, 27-28, 42-43, 62, 77-78) is positioned on the outer side of at least one of said core members. A grooved cooling layer (20, 30, 45, 61) is positioned between the pair of spaced core members and is in fluid communication with a cooling fluid. The disc assembly is used with other disc assemblies and other power elements (12, 48, 65, 83) to form a clutch assembly for the transmission.

摘要： An X-ray sheet film cassette is assembled of a bottom wall, side walls and a cover hinged to an upper part of one side wall. The lower part of the one side wall adjoining the bottom wall is reduced in thickness to form an abutment for the sheet film. The inner surface of the cover is provided with a resilient pressing pad which during the closing of the cover urges the sheet film against the abutment and in the closed condition of the cassette presses the film against the bottom. In this manner, when taking X-ray pictures of a part of patient's body which forms an angle relative to another body part, the unexposed section of the first mentioned body part which is adjacent the other body part, is minimized and well defined in position relative to the other body part.

摘要： A suction device is movable between a receiving position in which it removes a sheet of film from a magazine and a delivery position in which it transfers the sheet to a conveyor. The effective width of the suction device approximates or equals the width of the smallest sheet of film to be transferred. Sheets having a width greater than the smallest width are gripped in the region of one end thereof leaving the remainder of such a sheet free to deflect. In order to permit proper transfer of all sheets into the conveyor, the latter is provided with grooved rollers which lift the deflected portions of larger sheets into the conveyor. In the delivery position, the suction device is located opposite one portion of the conveyor. The conveying force exerted by this portion of the conveyor is smaller than the gripping force which the suction device exerts on a sheet but larger than the conveying force exerted by a laterally adjacent portion of the conveyor. The portion of a sheet in the latter part of the conveyor constitutes a moment arm when the sheet enters the conveyor and the vacuum in the suction device fails to shut off. The tendency is for the sheet to rotate about an axis which is located in the vicinity of the suction device and is normal to the sheet. This tendency is reduced by maintaining a relatively low conveying force in the portion of the conveyor remote from the suction device and maintaining a relatively high gripping force for the suction device.

摘要： An x-ray film cassette includes two cassette parts which are connected at one side by a hinge and which are cylindrically curved as considered in a plane normal to the hinge. The cassette part which constitutes the bottom carries a foil of ferromagnetic material floatingly supported on an elastic strip-sloped peripheral frame, and an intensifying shield supported on this foil, while the other cassette part which constitutes the top carries a magnetic plate supported on elongated projections of the cassette wall and supporting another intensifying shield. In the closed position of the cassette, the magnetic plate attracts the ferromagnetic foil to thereby eliminate air inclusions between the intensifying shields and the x-ray film interposed therebetween.
