摘要： An apparatus including a base substrate including a reference voltage plane. A plurality of spaced apart printed circuit substrates are attached to the base substrate. Each one of the printed circuit substrates includes a reference voltage plane attached to the reference voltage plane of the base substrate. A system component is removably attached to a first side of at least one of the printed circuit substrates. The system component is electrically connected to the reference voltage plane of the printed circuit substrate. A support member is attached to a second side of each printed circuit substrate. Each support member is electrically coupled to the reference voltage plane of the printed circuit substrate. The support members are electrically connected to a reference voltage plane of the printed circuit substrate to provide a low impedance return current path for the electrical portion of the electromagnetic emissions, thereby reducing the magnitude of electromagnetic emissions.

摘要： An apparatus including a base substrate and a plurality of spaced apart end brackets attached to the base substrate. A plurality of spaced apart side panel assemblies are removably mounted between a mounting portion of each end bracket. A first edge of each side panel assembly positioned adjacent to the base substrate. A shroud is pivotally attached to each one of the side panel assemblies adjacent to a second edge of the respective side panel assembly. Each shroud is movable about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position with respect to the respective side panel assembly. A shroud engaging portion is attached to each end bracket adjacent to each shroud. A engagement member of each shroud engages a corresponding shroud engaging portion when the respective shroud is moved from the open position to the closed position for moving the respective printed circuit substrate from an inserted position to a seated position with respect to the base substrate. Fewer components are required to construct the apparatus relative to previous apparatuses, reducing the cost and assembly. Furthermore, the shrouds function as a cam device for seating the system component assembly in the chassis.

摘要： A switched cavity laser system which includes a resonant cavity, a gain medium within the resonant cavity, a cavity switch and an output coupler. A controllable pump energy source delivers pump energy to the gain medium in response to an energy control signal. A detector is coupled with the gain medium and generates a detector signal in response to the amount of population inversion exhibited by the gain medium. A control circuit is coupled to the detector and controllable pump energy source for generating the energy control signal in response to the detector signal. As the switching rate of the Q-switch is varied, the energy control signal varies to ensure a constant level of population inversion between each pulse. In this matter, a prespecified pulse energy is achieved for each pulse independent of the switching rate of the Q-switch.

摘要： There is provided a marker buoy useful to indicate the location of an underwater structure. The buoy is made from a material having a density less than water, including first and second elongated side members and a central portion therebetween. The central portion receives an elongated twine having a weight attached to its far end. Each side member has a stud extending away therefrom at opposing ends of the buoy. The buoy automatically rotates to dispense the twine when the buoy is placed on the surface of water, and is adapted to be manually rotated by manipulation of the studs to retract the twine.

摘要： The present apparatus and method relates in general to sealing a hole in a floor with a precast plug. A precast plug is created by pouring a wet aggregate mix into a form mold and thereafter inserting a pre bent rod into the uncured mixture, positioning it such that the center of the rod rests in the center of the form mold and the ends of the rod extend outward near the top of the form mold. The mix is then cured. The precast plug may then be transported to the hole that it is destined to fix. Grooves may be carved on either side of the hole to accommodate the rod's ends. The interior of the hole and the exterior of the plug may then be covered with a sealant, after which the plug may be inserted into the hole. Once the sealant cures, the hole is fully repaired.
