    摘要: An apparatus including a base substrate including a reference voltage plane. A plurality of spaced apart printed circuit substrates are attached to the base substrate. Each one of the printed circuit substrates includes a reference voltage plane attached to the reference voltage plane of the base substrate. A system component is removably attached to a first side of at least one of the printed circuit substrates. The system component is electrically connected to the reference voltage plane of the printed circuit substrate. A support member is attached to a second side of each printed circuit substrate. Each support member is electrically coupled to the reference voltage plane of the printed circuit substrate. The support members are electrically connected to a reference voltage plane of the printed circuit substrate to provide a low impedance return current path for the electrical portion of the electromagnetic emissions, thereby reducing the magnitude of electromagnetic emissions.

    摘要: An apparatus includes a base substrate and a plurality of spaced apart end brackets attached to the base substrate. A pivotable one of the end brackets is movable between a retracted position and an extended position with respect to the base. A plurality of spaced apart side panel assemblies are removably mounted between each end bracket when the pivotable one of the end brackets is in the extended position. A first edge of each side panel assembly is positioned adjacent to the base substrate. A shroud assembly extends between the two side panel assemblies adjacent to a second edge of each side panel assembly. The shroud assembly, the base substrate and the side panel assemblies define an air duct. A fan is mounted adjacent to at least one of the end brackets for directing air through the air duct. The part count of the apparatus is reduced such that cost and assembly time are also reduced. Furthermore, at least one of the end brackets can be pivoted to the retracted position to allow the printed circuit substrate and end brackets to be more easily installed in the chassis as an assembly and to permit cost effective servicing of the apparatus.

    摘要: An apparatus including a base substrate and a plurality of spaced apart end brackets attached to the base substrate. A plurality of spaced apart side panel assemblies are removably mounted between a mounting portion of each end bracket. A shroud is pivotally attached to each one of the side panel assemblies adjacent to a second edge of the respective side panel assembly. Each shroud is movable about a pivot axis between an open position and a closed position with respect to the respective side panel assembly. A shroud engaging portion is attached to each end bracket adjacent to each shroud. A engagement member of each shroud engages a corresponding shroud engaging portion when the respective shroud is moved from the open position to the closed position for moving the respective printed circuit substrate from an inserted position to a seated position with respect to the base substrate. Fewer components are required to construct the apparatus relative to previous apparatuses, reducing the cost and assembly. Furthermore, the shrouds function as a cam device for seating the system component assembly in the chassis.

    摘要: The present apparatus and method relates in general to sealing a hole in a floor with a precast plug. A precast plug is created by pouring a wet aggregate mix into a form mold and thereafter inserting a pre formed rod into the uncured mixture, positioning it such that the center of the rod rests in the center of the form mold and the ends of the rod extend outward near the top of the form mold. The mix is then cured. The precast plug may then be transported to the hole that it is destined to fix. Grooves may be carved on either side of the hole to accommodate the rod's ends. The interior of the hole and the exterior of the plug may then be covered with a sealant, after which the plug may be inserted into the hole. Once the sealant cures, the hole is fully repaired.

    摘要: The present apparatus and method relates in general to sealing a hole in a floor with a precast plug.     摘要: A screw-type fluid pump is provided with an elongate casing having a surface defining an internal fluid flow space and a screw within the flow path, fixed to the casing, and having a plurality of flights for continuously conveying fluid from an inlet on the casing to an outlet for appropriate disposition as the screw and casing are rotated. A conduit/torque tube extends through the screw in axially overlapping relationship with the casing over no more than one third the axial extent of the screw at the upper region of the casing. The conduit/torque tube establishes communication between a plurality of pockets between screw turns and the atmosphere to effect pressure equalization so that cavitation in the fluid flow space is prevented as the screw is operated. The conduit/torque tube also transmits the force from a rotary drive to the screw.

A lower edge of the lid is configured for contact relation with an abutting V-shaped upper edge portion of the outer housing. The drawer member is additionally provided with means for retaining at least a portion thereof within the housing, which are operatively associated with corresponding means located upon an inner surface of the housing.

    摘要: A cylindrical storage tank of large diameter and depth is concentrically surrounded by a settling tank that has a width to internal diameter ratio that provides essentially plug flow. Liquid containing suspended particles capable of separation by settling is introduced into the upper part of a body of liquid in the settling tank at a zero radius of the tank at a controlled rate and flows slowly in both directions around the storage tank to a weir which extends no more than about halfway around the storage tank and is bisected by a 180.degree. radius of the tank. A slurry of particle-laden liquid is drawn from the lower part of the settling tank, and relatively particle-free surface liquid flows over the weir into the storage tank from which it is drained at a controlled rate.
