The sensing architecture may provide a method and means for certifying detected events by the cardiac rhythm management device. Moreover, by exploiting the enhanced capability to accurately identifying only those sensed events that are desirable, and preventing the use of events marked as suspect, the sensing architecture can better discriminate between rhythms appropriate for device therapy and those that are not.

    摘要: A method of controlling a braking force applied to at least one wheel supporting a tire that includes steps of issuing a braking command (100), commanding an amount of tire stretch based on the braking command (102), estimating an amount of tire stretch for the tire based at least in part on wheel speed (104), and controlling the braking force applied to the wheel so that the estimated amount of tire stretch approaches the commanded amount of tire stretch (106). Also, a system (10) for controlling braking based on a determination of tire stretch that includes a tire stretch command generator (12) generating a tire stretch command based on a braking command, a reference velocity estimator (46) producing a first signal indicative of a velocity, a tire stretch estimator (30) producing a second signal indicative of an amount of tire stretch, and a brake force command generator (18) generating a brake force command based on the braking command, the first signal and the second signal.

    摘要: A bicycle rack (10) comprises a pedestal mountable on lug bolts (25) of an exterior spare-tire mount including spokes (14a, b and c) which extend axially to the lug bolts. A main support arm (18) extending laterally to the spokes is attachable to outer ends of the spokes by means of an outer hub (16) and has mounted on it a bicycle support arm (20) for supporting a bicycle laterally of the spare-tire mount. First and second angularly-adjustable mounting mechanisms (34 and 42) allow the angular positions of the main support arm relative to the outer hub and the bicycle support arm relative to the main support arm to be adjusted respectively.
