摘要： A communication duration configuring method is used in a mobile communication system including a mobile relay station for relaying a wireless communication between a base station and a mobile station. The method includes: configuring at least any of a downlink communication duration where the relay station receives a transmission signal from the base station by restricting a transmission of a signal from the relay station to the mobile station and an uplink communication duration where the relay station transmits a transmission signal to the base station by restricting a transmission of a signal from the mobile station to the relay station; and restricting a transmission of a signal with the mobile station in a first period from detection of a handover until when the communication duration is configured between the relay station and a target base station, and using a desired duration within the first period.

The method includes: configuring at least one of a downlink communication duration in which the relay station receives a transmission signal from the base station while limiting a transmission of a signal from the relay station to the mobile station, and an uplink communication duration in which the relay station transmits the transmission signal to the base station while limiting a transmission of a signal from the mobile station to the relay station; measuring a self-interference amount in the relay station; and controlling a configuration of the communication duration according to the self-interference amount.

摘要： A wireless communication system includes a relay station, first and second wireless base stations, a gateway device, and a mobile station. The gateway device is connected to the first and second wireless base stations by a cable. The first and second wireless base stations are interconnected by a cable. The relay station is connected wirelessly to the first wireless base station to perform relayed communication via the first wireless base station. When the mobile station at a lower level than the relay station executes handover to the second wireless base station, the first wireless base station switches a data transfer route by redirecting data which is not yet completely transmitted to the mobile station, to be forwarded to the second wireless base station.
