    摘要: An electromagnetic relay includes a flat base made of an insulating material, two flexure type electromagnetic relay blocks fixed on the base so as to be point symmetrical with the center of the base and having the same structure, a first contact member including two make contacts respectively opposing the movable contacts of the two electromagnetic relay blocks and at least one first terminal inserted into a first through hole formed in a central portion of the base, and a second contact member including two break contacts respectively opposing the movable contacts of the two electromagnetic relay blocks and at least one second terminal inserted into a second through hole formed in a central portion of the base.

    摘要: A miniature relay switches a very large current without causing a deterioration of nearby insulation. This is done by providing relatively large clearance spaces in the areas where particles eroding from the contacts might be deposited. Also, housing walls separate the contacts from these areas of particle deposition. Without this clearance space or walls, the deposited particles might cause a short circuit. The invention also provides many structural details which enables the miniature construction.

    摘要: In an electromagnetic relay, a first stationary contact member (25) has a first, elongated portion (25a) extending between first and second insulative supports and a second portion (25b) extending in a direction normal to the first portion. The second portion includes a first stationary contact (25c) element and a heat radiating surface (25b, 25f) for radiating a substantial amount of heat generated by an arc so that the amount of heat which is conducted to the first support (13) is insufficient to cause a fusion to occur therein. A second stationary contact member (26) has a third, elongated portion (26a) extending between the first and second supports and a fourth, elongated portion (26b) extending in a direction normal to the third portion in spaced relationship to the second portion (25b) and having a second stationary contact element (26c) in opposed relationship with the first stationary contact element. A coiled-core structure is secured between the insulative supports for operating a movable contact member between the first and second stationary contact elements.
