    摘要: A permanent magnet is pivotally mounted in a top spacer layer of a switching device and rests on a flex arm created in an underlying flex circuit layer. The underside of the flex arm rests on a thin bar formed in a lower spacer layer beneath which lies a base layer including an electromagnet. Activation of the electromagnet causes rotation of the flex arm to thereby close and open electrical contacts formed respectively on the underside of the flex arm and on the top surface of the base layer.

    摘要: An electromagnetic relay includes a bobbin including a winding part, jaw parts extending from both ends of the winding part, and a pair of opposing side wall parts; a coil wound on the winding part; an iron core attached to the bobbin; an armature; a movable contact which contacts or is separated from a fixed contact; and a case. The jaw part is formed to extend to a part in the vicinity of a side wall of the case so as to separate a first space where the coil exists from a second space where the fixed contact and the movable contact exist. Each of the side wall parts extends from the jaw part along an axis of the bobbin in a direction toward the second space and has a distal end abutting on the case.

    摘要: A double-pole-double-throw (DPDT) electromechanical relay employing a movable first magnet and a nearby third electromagnet is disclosed. The movable first magnet is permanently magnetized with a magnetic moment and has at least a first end and a second end. The third electromagnet, when energized, produces a third magnetic field which is primarily perpendicular to the magnetization direction of the first movable magnet and exerts a magnetic torque on the first magnet to force the first magnet to rotate and closes electrical conduction paths at the first end. Changing the direction of the electrical current in the third electromagnet changes the direction of the third magnetic field and thus the direction of the magnetic torque on the first magnet, and causes the first magnet to rotate in an opposite direction and opens the electrical conduction path at the first end and closes the electrical conduction paths at the second end. Latching, non-latching types, and various forms (normally open or closed, etc.) of relays can be formed by appropriately adjusting various force magnitudes.

The base block 2 has a base portion 20 having substantially a rectangular shape, fixed contact terminal retaining portions 21 and 21′ extending vertically from two opposing sides of the rectangle so as to retain the two fixed contact terminals, and a backstop retaining portion 24 extending vertically from the center portion of one of the remaining two opposing sides of the rectangle.

A base protective wall 5c is provided on the base plate 5, and a coil wire winding terminal portion of a spool is covered by the base protective wall and by a fixed terminal protective wall on the fixed terminal block when assembled, preventing foreign matters such as flux from entering between the contacts from the winding terminal portion.

    摘要: An electromagnetic relay has a movable iron core, an insulation holder integrated with an upper end portion of the movable iron core, a movable contact piece supported by the insulation holder, and a solenoid formed from a wound coil. The movable iron core is housed in an axial hole in the solenoid movably in the upward and downward directions. The movable iron core is adapted to be moved upwardly and downwardly based on magnetization and demagnetization of the solenoid for contacting and separating a movable contact point provided on the movable contact piece with and from a fixed contact point for opening and closing a contact point. A permanent magnet is embedded in a base portion of the insulation holder.

The relay includes a coil, a moving contact whose position changes according to whether the coil is energized, a load terminal conductive to the contact and connected to the first bar, and a coil terminal connected to the coil and second bar. The first bar includes a loading circuit. A current flows to an external load through the loading circuit opened/closed when the position of the contact changes. The second bar includes a coil circuit through which the coil is energized. The drive circuit is packaged on the second bar and opens/closes the coil circuit based on an operation signal. The first and second bars are stacked at predetermined intervals. The relays are between the first and second bars.
