    摘要: According to the invention, in a rotor of a vehicular alternating current generator motor having a Lundell type core having a field winding, a cylindrical portion wound with the field winding, a yoke portion widened from a portion in an axial direction of the cylindrical portion in an outer peripheral direction, and a plurality of claw-like magnetic pole portions constituted to incorporate the field winding, extended in the axial direction from an outer periphery of the yoke portion and folded to bend to be brought in mesh with each other alternately, and a magnet arranged between the claw-like magnetic poles, an outer peripheral face of the field winding and an inner peripheral face of the magnet are made to be proximate to each other to thereby hamper draft between the field winding and the magnet.

    摘要: In a stator for an alternator includes electric conductors which include a plurality of winding sub-portions in each of which one long strand of wire is bent back outside the slots at end surfaces of the stator core and wound into a wave winding so as to alternately occupy an inner layer and an outer layer in a slot depth direction within the slots a predetermined number of slots apart, and the turned portions of the strands of wire bent back outside the slots at both the end surfaces of the stator core are disposed in a circumferential direction so as to constitute a joint-side coil end and a turn-side coil end and the plurality of windings sub-portions are connected to each other on the joint-side coil end at a first end of the stator core, the average amount of application per unit area of any one of the varnish, with which the joint-side coil end is impregnated and the varnish, with which the counter-joint-side coil end is impregnated, is larger than the average amount of application per unit area of the other of the varnishes. With this construction, there can be obtained a stator for an automotive alternator in which the insulation of a joint-side coil end having no insulation film can be improved and the amount of varnish for impregnation is not unncessarily increased.

Second outer plate-joining weld portions are applied at positions dividing the outer surface of the laminated body into three sections, and first inner and outer plate-joining weld portions are applied to the inner surface and the outer surface in the vicinity of end portions of the laminated body.
