    摘要: A display apparatus including a display unit that displays moving images corresponding to moving image data consisting of multiple two-dimensional images and three dimensional images that are sequentially generated chronologically. A touch panel is provided on a display screen of the display unit and receives an input of a signal corresponding to a position touched by an external object. A setting unit sets a subject contained in the moving images and specified according to an input signal received by the touch panel. A motion detector detects motion of the subject, which is set by the subject setting unit, on the basis of successive two of the two-dimensional images or the three dimensional images that are generated chronologically. A display controller causes the display unit to display the moving images as the three-dimensional images.

    摘要: Disclosed is a camera which analyzes an image signal output periodically from an image pickup device to determine a timing suitable for shooting a still image, and acquires an image signal for a still image having a larger number of pixels based on the determination result. The suitable timing can be determined by using a moment of, for example, a change in the moving direction of a moving subject, a pausing of a moving subject, or a change in a voice to be input. The image signal for a still image can stay recorded only when a camera user gives an instruction to shoot a still image within a predetermined period from the determination.

    摘要: An image sensing apparatus includes an image sensing element to form an object image which enters via a photographing optical system, a distance measuring unit to measure distances to at least first and second points within a photographing frame using an optical path different from the optical system. A determination unit determines a relationship between a distance measuring result and a drive amount of the optical system, on the basis of the distance measuring result upon measuring a distance to the first point by the distance measuring unit and a change in contrast of the object image formed at a position corresponding to the first point on the image sensing element when a focal point position of the optical system has changed. A control unit controls the focal point position of the optical system, on the basis of a distance measuring result at the second point and the relationship.
