摘要： An end bearing for a one-way clutch is disclosed. The end bearing is provided in its inner or outer peripheral wall with at least one lube oil groove which is oblique to a central axis of the one-way clutch to introduce a lube oil into the one-way clutch. 摘要： A one-way includes a drag strip between a retainer and a driver ring to ensure transmission of rotation of the driver ring to engagement members such as sprags even when the driver ring is abruptly accelerated or is driven at a high speed. The drag strip has a sliding main body which, after assembly of the drag strip in the one-way clutch, is maintained in contact with the driver ring. The drag strip also has a hanger which extends at a right angle from at least one of opposite ends of the sliding main body into an engagement-member-receiving window of the retainer. On a side edge of the drag strip, where the drag strip is normally maintained in contact with an edge of the engagement-member-receiving window of the inner retainer, the drag strip has an engagement portion engageable with the edge the engagement-member-receiving window. The engagement portion is located in the same plane as the side edge of the hanger. The hanger is maintained in engagement with the retainer by the engagement portion.

摘要： A one-way clutch is constructed of an inner member, an outer ring disposed coaxially with the inner member, clutch members arranged between the inner member and the outer ring to permit rotation of one of the inner member and the outer ring in one direction relative to the other but to restrict rotation of said one of the inner member and the outer ring in an opposite direction relative to the other, centering blocks arranged between the inner member and the outer ring, and a cage having support elements for the respective centering blocks. Each of the centering blocks is in the form of a hollow body having a sliding portion and a fixed portion. The sliding portion is maintained in sliding contact with one of the inner member and the outer ring, while the fixed portion is secured on the other one of the inner member and the outer ring.

摘要： An annular retainer is provided for use in a one-way clutch, which is constructed of a first and second rotary members arranged spacedly in a radial direction, rotatably relative to each other and concentrically with each other and having axially-extending annular surfaces respectively and torque transmitting members arranged between the first and second rotary members to transmit torques between the annular surfaces. The annular retainer serves to hold the torque transmitting members at equal angular intervals. The retainer has such a specific shape that the retainer is as a whole flexible against the annular surface of the first or second rotary member so as to maintain at least a part of the retainer in contact with the annular surface of the first or second rotary member.

摘要： A one-way sprag clutch is composed of a first and second races arranged concentrically and rotatably relative to each other with a radial interval and having axially-extending annular race surfaces respectively, sprags arranged between the first and second races to transmit torques between the race surfaces, and an annular retainer defining through-holes maintaining the sprags with equal angular intervals. Each of the sprags is formed of a first and second end portions engageable respectively with the race surfaces of the first and second races and a constricted portion extending between the first and second end portions, is constricted in an angular direction and has a cross-section substantially in the form of a peanut shell. The angular width of at least a part of each of the through-holes is narrower than the maximum angular widths of the first and second end portions but is broader than the angular width of the constricted portion.
