Abstract:
An image processing device has a first print data receiving unit that receives first print data containing at least one image formation command, and a judging unit that judges whether each image formation command included in the first print data is a pixel number dependent command. An image processing device is configured such that a print image formation unit forms the print image on the printer-equivalent image formation area with increasing the number of pixels of the print image in accordance with the resolutions of the display-equivalent image formation area and the printer-equivalent image formation area if a judging unit judges that the image formation command is the pixel number dependent command, and the print image formation unit forms the print image on the printer-equivalent image formation area without modifying the print image if the judging unit judges that the image formation command is not the pixel number dependent command.

An image forming apparatus includes a calibration information generating unit that generates calibration information, an identification information generating unit that generates identification information associating the generated calibration information, a receiving unit that receives identification information from an external device, and a print control unit that controls the image forming apparatus to pause a printing process.
Abstract:
Computer-executable instructions stored in a medium cause an output apparatus to perform first and second output control processes. The output apparatus includes a storage section for storing a plurality of document data sets having a predetermined order and acquired from a plurality of documents, and an output section for outputting images of a plurality of document data constituting the plurality of document data sets. In the first output control process, the output section outputs an image of a document data belonging to one document data set and to output an image of a document data belonging to the next document data set according to the predetermined order. In the second output control process, the output section outputs an image of a document data belonging to a specified attribute of one document data set and to output the next image based on the attribute.
Abstract:
An information processing devices transmits a request including identifying information that identifies the information processing device. The information processing device receives a first file and first location information that represents a location of a first terminal device. The information processing device receives a second file and second location information that represents a location of a second terminal device. The information processing device determines a positional relationship between the first and second terminal devices based on the first and second location information. The information processing device merges the first and second files in an arrangement based on the positional relationship between the first and second terminal devices. Some information processing devices receive a first file request and particular identifying information identifying a particular terminal device. The information processing devices transmit a second file request and a particular response including a particular file in response to receiving the first file request.
Abstract:
An image editing apparatus including: an image-data obtainer which obtains: first-face and second-face image data respectively created by reading first and second faces of a document, the first-face image data being as first target data, the second-face image data being as second target data; a receiver which receives a command for executing a processing for one of the first and second target data; and an image processor which, upon receipt of the command by the receiver, executes, for the one target data, a processing based on the command and executes, for another of the first and second target data, a processing symmetrical to the processing based on the command with respect to an axis extending through a center of an image corresponding to the one target data and extending in a sub-scanning direction during reading of the document.
Abstract:
A scanning apparatus which scans a document, includes: a scanning section which includes a scanning area and which scans the document in the scanning area; a control device which includes a position information capturing section which captures a position information indicating a position of the document on the scanning area when the document is scanned by the scanning section and a processing section which performs a plurality of processes with respect to an image data of the document scanned by the scanning section based on the position information captured by the position information capturing section.
Abstract:
A printing system includes a host computer and a server computer communicable with the host computer via a network. The host computer includes a first transmitting unit that transmits image data and position data indicating a position of a storage area in a storage unit. The storage area stores supplementary image data. The server computer includes an image acquiring unit, a combining unit, and a second transmitting unit. The image acquiring unit acquires the supplementary image data from the storage area based on the position data. The combining unit combines the image data transmitted from the host computer and the acquired supplementary image data to create composite image data. The second transmitting unit transmits the composite image data to a printer to print an image corresponding to the composite image data.
Abstract:
A computer connectable with a printer includes an application unit that outputs first data, an interface that generates second data based on the first data, and a driver unit. The driver unit includes a generating unit, a determining unit, and a reducing unit. The generating unit generates third data based on the second data. The printer prints an image corresponding to the third data. The determining unit determines whether or not the image corresponding to the third data should be printed by the printer. The reducing unit reduces at least one of a first time period required to generate the second data and a second time period required to generate the third data, if the determining unit determines that the image corresponding to the third data should not be printed by the printer.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit; a communication unit configured to receive image data and an instruction; a nonvolatile memory configured to store color correction data; a color correction data generating unit configured to generate a new color correction data and update the color correction data stored in the nonvolatile memory with the new color correction data; and a control unit. When the instruction contains a first instruction which instructs performing the printing operation without updating the color correction data, the control unit corrects a gradation of an image contained in the image data using existing color correction data stored in the nonvolatile memory. When the instruction does not contain the first instruction and also when a given condition is satisfied, the control unit causes the color correction data generating unit to generate the new color correction data and update the color correction data with the new color correction data, and corrects the gradation of the image contained in the image data using the new color correction data. When the instruction does not contain the first instruction and also when the given condition is not satisfied, the control unit corrects the gradation of the image contained in the image data using the existing color correction data stored in the nonvolatile memory.
