摘要:
A fuel cell system is provided which includes a fuel cell to which fuel gas and oxidizing gas are supplied to generate electricity, a purge valve which purges fuel gas discharged from the fuel cell, a dilutor which mixes the purged fuel gas with the oxidizing gas and purges the purged fuel gas mixed with the oxidizing gas into the atmosphere, and an ECU which stops supply of the oxidizing gas to the fuel cell so as to cause an idle stop and determines whether to permit the idle stop depending on a concentration of the fuel gas in the dilutor.

A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell, a cathode supply passage, a cathode discharging passage, an anode supply passage, an anode discharging passage, a pair of cathode shutoff units, an anode shutoff unit, an anode discharging unit, a discharged gas processing unit, and a control unit. The control unit releases the sealing of the cathode passage by the pair of cathode shutoff units, at the time of start-up of the fuel cell system, and releases the sealing of the anode passage by the anode discharging unit, thereby performing a purge process to allow discharge of the anode gas.

A fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell in which electrical power generation is performed through chemical reactions of reaction gases being supplied thereto; a discharge path through which the reaction gases are discharged; a discharge valve provided on the discharge path and operated for discharging the reaction gases through the discharge path; an opening condition monitoring device for continuously monitoring a demanded opening condition of the discharge valve; and an opening condition renewing device for renewing the demanded opening condition of the discharge valve depending on the demanded opening condition of the discharge valve detected by the opening condition monitoring device when opening of the discharge valve is demanded. Opening of the discharge valve is controlled depending on the latest demanded opening condition which has been renewed by the opening condition renewing device.

A fuel cell system includes a control device for setting an oxygen-containing gas operating pressure target value on the cathode side using a relative pressure relative to atmospheric pressure, setting a fuel gas operating pressure target value on the anode side using an absolute pressure, and controlling a power generation current of the fuel cell using as command values the relative pressure and the absolute pressure. The control device controls operation of the entire fuel cell system.

A start-up method for a fuel cell system that includes a fuel cell that carries out power generation by the electrochemical reaction between a fuel gas and the oxygen gas in the air; a fuel gas discharge path and a fuel gas supply path that are connected to the fuel cell; a fuel gas circulation path in which the fuel gas discharge path merges with the fuel gas supply path; and a purge valve provided on the fuel gas circulation path in order to discharge the circulating fuel gas from the fuel gas circulation path. The method includes the steps of opening the purge valve at the same time that the fuel gas is supplied to the fuel cell and replacing the nitrogen gas that originates in the air and is present in the fuel gas circulation path by fuel gas; and closing the purge valve after the nitrogen gas in the fuel gas circulation path has been replaced by the fuel gas.
