    摘要: An electrophotographic reproducing machine in which the bias voltage applied to the sleeve is set at such a level as to substantially nullify the developing current which is produced as a result of induction of charge in the developer in accordance with the potential of the electrostatic latent image when the document is a blank. The setting of the bias voltage is made in accordance with an electrostatic latent image formed as a result of the projection of a leading projecting portion provided on a document glass plate in contact with the document mounting position, the projection of the leading projecting portion being made in advance to the projection of the image on the document to form the electrostatic latent image of a potential substantially equal to that corresponding to the blank portion of the document.

    摘要: A flat display panel uses a DC gas-discharge and has flat discharge display elements, which elements have three electrodes composed of a cathode, a grid and an anode and a discharge stabilizing resistor. An auxiliary discharge is formed by using the discharge stabilizing resistor, the cathode and the grid in an auxiliary discharge space defined between the grid and the cathode. A main gas discharge is formed in a main discharge space defined between the anode and the grid by mainly using electrons in a plasma, produced in the auxiliary discharge space, which are diffused and accelerated into the main discharge space. The flat discharge panel, in order to provide a memory function in the main discharge is driven by the use of pulse voltage applied between the anode and the grid.

The method includes: forming a mirror image onto a first surface of the transparent substrate; peeling a light reflecting material having a tacking layer or an adhering layer, which is sticked on a second surface of said transparent substrate in advance, from said second surface; and laminating said tacking layer or said adhering layer of said light reflecting material, peeled off in said peeling step, onto said first surface of said transparent substrate bearing said mirror image formed in said forming step.

    摘要: A frame is provided with an opening allowing insertion of a jig for setting an inner rim of a suspension holder to a proper position. The jig ensures positive alignment of the suspension holder when making connection to the frame. The jig also ensures reliable bonding of a diaphragm to the suspension holder with a bonding agent, since it steadily supports the suspension holder in position during the bonding process. The positioning of the bobbin and a voice coil is thus reliable when being assembled, thereby improving acoustic performance of a speaker.

    摘要: A toner concentration detecting circuit detects a toner concentration of a two-component developer composed of toner and a carrier by detecting a change of magnetic permeability of the two-component developer. The detecting circuit is used in a developing device of an image recording apparatus. The toner concentration detecting circuit includes a sensor for sensing a change of a magnetic permeability of the two-component developer, a waveform corrector, a counter connected to a control CPU and a gate signal generating circuit connected to the control CPU so that a gate signal is sent to the counter.

    摘要: A mass spectrometer using a plasma ion source for analyzing an ultra-trace element includes a plasma generation system for generating a plasma including the composition of a sample, an ion beam formation system for extracting ions in the form of a beam from the plasma generating the ions, a mass spectrometry system for performing mass spectrometry of the ion beamn, and an ion detection system for detecting the ions subjected to the mass spectrometry, in which a lens system made up of a cylindrical first electrode, a cylindrical second electrode with a photon stopper disposed on the central axis thereof, and a cylindrical third electrode is further provided between the ion beam formation system and the mass spectrometry system. By the provision of the lens system, the ions generated in the plasma are transported more efficiently to the side of the mass spectrometry system and by the provision of the photon stopper in the above described position, it is achieved, with a simpler structure, to prevent photons from entering the ion detection system.
