Abstract: A tow bar apparatus has a pair of socket members adapted to be attached to a towed vehicle and a pair of ball rod end joints adapted to be attached to a towing vehicle. The pair of socket members each includes a girdle around a sidewall, the girdle being adapted to support the sidewall to prevent the sidewall from bending out of shape under the stress of towing; the girdle further including a first bolt aperture opposite the bar slot of the sidewall for pivotal attachment of the socket member to the towed vehicle. The ball rod end joint includes an external ring attached to the second end of one of the tow bars, and an internal ring pivotally mounted within the external ring. The internal ring is adapted to be mounted on a post of the towing vehicle.

Abstract: The quick hitch drawbar assembly accepts a standard yoke hitch but simplifies the tractor/scraper connection. Holes in the drawbar are replaced with slots which are angled to prevent accidental disconnection. These slots are wider at the top to simplify alignment of the yoke pin down the slots to be seated in a pin cradle. The forward portion of the drawbar ears are raised to form a stop for the horizontal pin when positioning the tractor.

Abstract: The application discloses a Drop Deck Trailer having a pivoting axle system that allows the deck of the trailer to be incrementally lowered to the ground. When coupled to a tow vehicle, the partially lowered deck becomes a ramp to load and unload a vehicle. The unloaded trailer can be backed into a standard garage, uncoupled, and lowered completely to the ground. The UTV or light vehicle can then be front-loaded on the trailer. This capability allows the convenience and cost savings of simultaneously storing a UTV or other light vehicle in the same standard garage space. A unique articulated tongue assembly allows the operator to minimize the footprint of the parked trailer, allowing smaller spaces to be used for storage or simply eliminate a trip hazard. The Drop Deck Trailer is a combination of innovative features that provides convenience and cost savings.

Abstract: The tongue is triangular and comprises four elements, the first three elements comprise the triangle previously discussed, and the fourth element is a rectangular center pole that bisects the triangle. The first element, referred to as the base element, is permanently attached to the chassis of the trailer much as the base element of prior art tongues are also attached to the chassis of the trailer. The second and third elements comprise the legs of the triangle and they are mirror images of each other. The fourth element is the center pole. The center pole bisects the triangle and is composed of two segments. The proximal segment, being rectangular and tubular, is permanently attached to the base element. Within the proximal segment's hollow tubular part, the distal segment linearly moves inwardly and outwardly. At the far end of the center pole's distal segment is a coupler, the coupler is configured to receive the towing vehicle's trailer ball. The coupler is also configured to releasably receive first and second element's second segment as second segment may be swung towards the coupler and attached to the coupler by a pin or by a latch. As the center pole's distal segment traverses within the center pole's first part, its position may be fixed by using a pin or latch. This novelty allows the conservation of garageability without sacrificing cabin space to accomplish the maximum length. Instead, the tongue retracts to save that length in a more creative and effective manner. Abstract: A trailer having a hitch assembly, intended to be used with a receiver on the towing vehicle, enables the vehicle/trailer pair to back up easily by locking the trailer's orientation relative to the towing vehicle. The vertical pivot axis (yaw) may be locked while the lateral (pitch) and longitudinal axes (roll) may remain free to rotate to allow for bumps and dips in the road. Furthermore a steerable suspension can be provided for many embodiments such as with an actuator receiving a signal from the back up wiring of the vehicle to change the mechanical constraints of the steering system upon receipt of the signal (such as to lock the position of a first tie rod connecting the wheels to the frame while freeing another, and possibly altering the angle of the wheels relative to the frame in the process). Meanwhile a toe-in effect of the wheels can be achieved by using multiple tie rods with a front tie rod bent rearwardly towards a rear tie rod.

Abstract: Disclosed is an improved all terrain vehicle (ATV) trailer hitch system, comprising a first and second pivotal joint connected by an elongated driveshaft for navigating uneven terrain and maneuvering through tight turns without joint binding or trailer tipping.
