摘要: The present invention provides a drink supply canister holder for a beverage dispensing apparatus for a residential refrigerator. The beverage dispensing apparatus includes a drink supplier including the drink supply canister holder for holding or maintaining at least one and preferably a plurality of drink supply canisters, and at least one and preferably a plurality of valve actuators for causing the drink supply to be selectively released from the drink supply canisters, a water supplier for selectively supplying carbonated water and non-carbonated water for producing the beverages, a gas supplier for supplying CO2 gas to carbonate the carbonated water provided by the water supplier and for supplying CO2 gas or other gas for pressurizing the drink supply canisters to provide a consistent flow rate, of the drink supply from the drink supply canisters and one or more beverage requesters for enabling users to request one of a plurality of beverages.

摘要: A beverage dispenser for dispensing a beverage into a container is provided. The dispenser includes a housing having a dispensing area. A pump or a control valve is in communication with a source of diluent which is to be dispensed into the dispensing area. A cartridge receiving area and a dispensing actuator are located in the housing. A concentrate/extract cartridge is removably insertable into the cartridge receiving area in a position to be actuated by the dispensing actuator, the concentrate/extract cartridge being adapted to hold a beverage concentrate/extract and including a dispensing aperture for dispensing a beverage concentrate/extract into the dispensing area upon placement of the concentrate/extract cartridge in the cartridge receiving area. A controller is located in the housing to control the actuator to discharge concentrate/extract into the dispensing area. A method of dispensing a selected beverage made from concentrate/extract and a diluent is also provided.

摘要: In a valve apparatus comprising a controlling arrangement which is for controlling a flow of a beverage in a beverage path, the controlling arrangement comprises a valve member which is movable between an open and a close position for opening and closing the beverage path and which is urged to the close position through a force transmission member by a compression spring. When the force transmission member is moved against the urging arrangement, the valve member becomes movable towards the open position. However, movement of the valve member is restricted at the open position by a stopper. Preferably, the stopper has a position which can be adjusted by operating of an operator or a user.

摘要: A device for selectively dispensing and mixing a plurality of beverages, having separately for each beverage a storage unit a pump unit and a dispensing unit, the units for each beverage are connected in series by pipe conduits, the dispensing units being combined to a bundle to dispense and mix the beverages in selected quantities and combinations in a receptacle, such as a drinking-glass, in order to prevent admittance of air both into the storage units and the dispensing units, and to prevent after-dripping and incorrect dispensing. Each storage unit comprises an intermediate storage unit provided between a storage container and a respective pump unit and arranged to receive a volume of beverage larger than the volume dispensable on each operation by the pump unit via the dispensing unit. Each dispensing unit comprises a dispensing nozzle of resilient material and actuable by the pressure from the pump unit only.

摘要: A post-mix beverage dispenser apparatus includes a syrup compartment in which a plurality of inverted flavor concentrate containers are plugged into sockets associated with selectively actuatable dispensing nozzles. The containers are also supported by snapping the sidewalls thereof into conformally shaped cooling fins. The fins and containers are properly dimensioned so that a snap-fit results therebetween. The cooling fins are directly attached to a thermally conductive plate which is in direct thermal contact with a water reservoir. Water within the reservoir is chilled by a suitable refrigeration device disposed therein. A carbonator tank is also disposed within the water reservoir.

摘要: An apparatus and method for connecting a one-way disposable syrup package and associated dispensing attachment for use in a post-mix beverage dispenser system are described. The dispensing attachment includes a threaded socket for operatively engaging the threaded portion on the neck of a container constituting the syrup package, a cutting edge for puncturing a sealing member over the discharge end of the container, an inlet for supplying a compressed fluid into the container and an outlet for propelling the syrup concentrate toward the discharge opening of the container. The dispensing attachment is screwed onto the threaded portion of the container neck, preferably while the container is in an upright position until the cutting edge punctures the sealing member. Suitable conduits are then connected to the inlet and outlets of the attachment to connect the syrup package to the post-mix beverage dispenser system.

摘要: A dispensing valve for dispensing concentrate and diluent to make a beverage includes a first member containing therein a cylindrical bore having a first pressurizing gas passage terminating at an alongate opening in the bore and a first diluent passage terminating in a further outlet in the bore. The bottom of the bore contains an open area through which concentrate can be dispensed. Seals around the alongate outlet and the further outlet and seal against a central, rotatable valve member of generally angularous shape which is disposed for rotation within the cylindrical bore. The rotatable valve member contains a diluent outlet and passages to, when the valve is properly rotated connect the diluent outlet with the further outlet in the bore and also has means for engaging first and second container parts to rotate the parts with respect to each other to open a valve in the container to permit the simultaneous dispensing of a diluent from the valve and concentrate from the container, the diluent and concentrate mixing only after they have left the valve and are on their way to or in a cup into which the beverage is being dispensed.

摘要: A water dispenser includes a pump which can lift water in an exchangeable raw water container into a water storage tank in a casing. The water dispenser further includes a water level sensor in the form of a float sensor for detecting the upper limit and the lower limit of the water level in the water storage tank. The water dispenser further includes a controller adapted to activate the pump upon receiving a sensor input indicative of detection of the lower limit, and deactivate the pump upon receiving sensor input indicative of detection of the upper limit. The controller is further adapted to measure the time elapsed since the pump was activated, and deactivate the pump when the time elapsed reaches a predetermined time at which the water level exceeds the upper limit and at which water in the water storage tank has not yet overflown the water storage tank.
