摘要： A package including a fitment for dispensing a liquid from a flexible bag is disclosed. The fitment is secured to the bag and includes a compressible bulb and a piercing member that are coupled together. The fitment is configured such that when the bulb is first actuated, e.g., pressed, it causes the piercing member to pierce through the wall of the bag so that the contents of the bag can be dispensed through an outlet port of the fitment. In one embodiment of the fitment a portion of the piercing member is permanently located within the bag after first use and a valve is provided to open and close the outlet port thereafter. In another and more preferred embodiment the piercing member is extended into and out of the bag to dispense the contents of the bag through the outlet port, without necessitating use of a separate valve to open and close that port.

摘要： A faucet for dispensing beverages includes a valve element that is selectively moved from its seated position to its unseated position by manual linear movement of a handle in a first direction from a retracted position toward an extended position. Movement of the handle in the first direction induces movement of the valve element in the first direction. A shaft projects through the handle and an outer end of the shaft provides a reaction structure or button that is engaged by a thumb of a user during movement of the handle from its retracted position toward its extended position. When in its extended position, the handle can be rotated to a lock-open position where interference between the handle and the faucet body prevents movement of the handle from its extended position to its retracted position whereby the faucet is maintained in an opened condition for continuous dispensing of liquid.

摘要： A beverage dispenser includes a lower base, an upper receptacle positioned on and above the lower base for storing a beverage, and a valve in fluid communication with the beverage stored in the upper receptacle. The valve is seated within an opening defined through a bottom panel of the upper receptacle, extends downward from the upper receptacle, and is biased into a closed position. A handle engages the valve, such that rotation of the handle causes the handle to move the valve from the closed position to an open position where the beverage is dispensed through the valve. At the same time, the handle (and the valve) can be readily installed on or removed from the beverage dispenser.

The fluid outlet system has a circular opening, at a rear end of a cylindrical tube, having a removable metallic ball-covering that controls the flow of liquid from the container, as desired. Specifically, the fluid outlet system has a circular opening at a rear end of a cylindrical tube, wherein the circular opening is provided with a removable metallic ball-covering. The removable metallic ball-covering can be easily dislodged by a mechanical switch in order to dispense liquid, and is securely held in place by magnets on a valve seat of the circular opening, when the fluid outlet system is at a closed position, to stop liquid flow.

摘要： A faucet for controlling the dispensing of liquids includes a valve body having a valve chamber with an inlet and an outlet. A valve element is located in the valve chamber and is movable from a first position for blocking flow between the inlet and outlet to a second position for permitting flow between the inlet and the outlet. An operating stem has an inner end operatively connected to the valve element and an outer end located external to the body. A bonnet is included, and an insert member is rotatably connected to the bonnet and defines an opening through which the stem extends. The bonnet and insert member are secured to the body and enclose the valve element in the valve chamber. The insert is located such that no portion of the insert member is clamped between the bonnet and the body.
