Abstract:
A carrier for a window sash having an actuatable friction adjuster. The friction adjuster has a carrier interface that interacts with a mating friction adjuster interface of the carrier such that the actuation of the friction adjuster by rotating it within an oblong slot in the carrier causes the carrier interface to interact with the friction adjuster interface and forces a rear portion of the friction adjuster into progressively increasing frictional contact with an adjacent portion of a window frame sash channel.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer with a door or flap for closing the appliance interior, with a hinge, by means of which the door or flap can be swivelled relative to the body of the appliance, wherein the hinge includes means for producing a closing force acting in closing direction of the door or flap, and with a damper which at least over a part of the closing movement of the door or flap applies a force directed against the closing movement of the door or flap, wherein the means for producing a closing force include an eccentric and means which exert a force that acts on the eccentric and is dependent on the opening angle of the door or flap.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a damper (1, 1′) for furniture, especially hinges, comprising a housing (2, 2′) in which a piston (8, 8′) is connected to a piston rod (3, 3′) and can be displaced. A fluid flows through at least one flow channel (11, 11′) on or in the piston (8, 8′) during a movement of the piston (8, 8′) inside the housing (2, 2′), the movement of the piston (8, 8′) resulting in a different damping power in different directions. The cross-section of the flow channel can be modified in some sections on at least one groove (20, 20′) by moving a plate (12, 12′) relative to the piston (8, 8′). On the at least one groove (20, 20′), a substantially funnel-shaped outlet (22, 22′) and/or the groove (20′) have a section which is arranged at an angle to the radial direction to avoid cavitation.
Abstract:
A toggle type hinge (10) has a damper assembly mounted on the flange (12) of its hinge cup. The damper assembly provides a damping resistance to the closing movement of the hinge over its final stage. The damper assembly comprises a sleeve (21) which houses a linear damper. The sleeve (21) is mounted on a groove (26) on the hinge cup flange (12) and is held in position by a holder (15). A wing (22) on the sleeve (21) is arranged to come into engagement with an arm (11) of the hinge, causing the sleeve to rotate about its longitudinal axis (25). A cam arrangement (19, 23) between the hinge cup flange (12) and sleeve (21) causes the sleeve to move along its axis (25) as it rotates. The axial movement of the sleeve (21) causes compression of the damper.
Abstract:
A decelerating device intended to intercept an end-of-stroke part of a closing path of a mobile member, such as a furniture drawer or door, including: a body fastenable in use to an abutting surface for the mobile member and internally defining a sealed chamber filled in use with a viscous fluid; a pushrod at least in part overhanging from the body and being adapted to cooperate in use with the mobile member, the pushrod being integral with a stem slidingly accommodated in the body against the bias of elastic means between an extracted position of the pushrod and a retracted position; and a piston accommodated in the sealed chamber so as to divide it into two portions hydraulically connected to each other and mechanically connected to the stem; wherein the stem presents a first end integrally connected to the pushrod and a second end opposite to the first, both slidingly accommodated in the body outside the sealed chamber and fluid-tightly towards the sealed chamber itself; the piston is provided with a mobile sealing member to choke the hydraulic communication between the two portions of the sealed chamber only during the stroke of the stem towards the retracted position.
Abstract:
A sliding door with reversible hand configurations can include a plurality of mounting locations along a top and a bottom edge thereof. The plurality of mounting locations can be configured to allow the sliding door to selectively hang and operate according to multiple orientations in order to satisfy site-specific handedness requirements. In one implementation, the sliding door includes a door frame and mounting hardware for selectively mounting the sliding door to a roller track affixed near the upper portion of a doorway.
Abstract:
A one-way hydraulic or pneumatic damper (1) of the invention comprising a cylindrical housing (2) closed at one end, in which a piston rod (3) is arranged in direction of the longitudinal axis, said piston rod (3) protruding through a cover (5) closing the second end of said housing and having on its other end that reaches into said housing a piston (4), and between the closed end of said housing (1) and said piston (4) there is a compression spring (9), wherein said piston (4) having an opening (12) running transversally to the longitudinal axis of said damper (1) is separated into a piston portion (13) and a valve portion (14), wherein said valve portion (14) of said piston (4) has a central hole (15), into which said piston rod (3) engages, the surface of the cross-section of said piston rod (3) being smaller than the surface of the cross-section of said hole (15) of said valve portion (14).
Abstract:
A container apparatus is provided in which a large space is not required in front of a housing for a door to be moved between a closed position and an open position.A housing 2 has an opening in a front surface 2a. A first attachment member 20 is attached to an inner surface of a side portion of the housing 2. A second attachment member 30 is attached to a rear surface 3a of a door 3 that opens and closes the opening of the housing 2. First, second and third links 41, 42, 43 are disposed between the first attachment member 20 and the second attachment member 30. The first attachment member 20, the second attachment member 30, and the first, second and third links 42, 43, 41 constitute a parallel link mechanism. This arrangement enables the door 3 to be translated.
Abstract:
A danger for movable furniture parts includes a housing and a cylinder disposed in the housing, in which a piston with a piston rod is movably supported. At least one set of gears is supported movably on the housing, by which the cylinder and/or a stop for the piston rod can be adjusted relative to the housing.
Abstract:
The sliding door comprises a rail (10) with a door leaf guided thereon by way of a running device (13). The path of the door leaf is limited by a limiting device (15). The limiting device (15) forms an arm (31) together with an elongated coupler (30), said arm running parallel to the rail (10) and comprising a coupling part (32) for gripping together with the gripper part (17) of the damper (20). The coupling part (32) stands out laterally from the flat arm (31) so that no height adjustment of the coupling part or the gripper part is required when the height of the door leaf (12) changes.
