The enclosure system also includes an upper track constructed and arranged to receive an upper portion of the plurality of elongated panels and a lower track constructed and arranged to receive a lower portion of the plurality of elongated panels. The lower track includes two polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) strips constructed and arranged as a transport system for facilitating movement of the plurality of elongated panels along the upper track and the lower track by achieving a very low coefficient of friction enabling heavy weights to be moved with little effort. Substantially all weight of the plurality of elongated panels is supported evenly across a length of the lower track on the two PTFE strips.

The moving member is moved by the rod and engages the locking base when the rod leaves the guiding slot.

The device further comprises a member having a first component which is arranged on the building element between the first suspension arrangement and the pivot axis of the pivoting means, and a second component by which the first component is arranged to cooperate with, for locking the pivoting means in said predetermined position against horizontal movement during at least a first part of the pivot motion of the building element.

The coupling piece (8), in a section at right angles to the axis of rotation (4), has the shape of a circle having a recess (14) at one side of the area element (2), as a result of which the extent of the coupling piece (8), from the axis of rotation (4) transversely to the area element (2) in the direction of the recess (14), is less than on the opposite side of the axis of rotation (4) and than on either side along the area element (2).

摘要： A pivotable, sliding, glazing structure is disclosed which comprises one or more panes supported between upper and lower guide-rails for horizontal sliding movement along the rails. Each pane has a leading edge and a trailing edge and is adapted to perform a pivoting motion about its leading edge at a respective predetermined position for each pane along the guide-rails. This is achieved by means of a pivot arrangement carried on the pane and arranged in the vicinity of the leading edge. The structure allows the pivot arrangement to be locked against further sliding movement when each pane reaches its respective predetermined position by displacing a portion of the pane inwardly so that at least a part of the pivot arrangement is held in a receiving element mounted on one of the guide-rails.

摘要： The subject assembly is intended for use in selectively closing in balconies and is made up of an upper guide, a lower guide and several panel subassemblies. The upper guide is attached to the ceiling of the balcony and the lower guide to the floor or top of the railing. Each panel subassembly is made up of a rectangular glass panel, an upper fitting attached to its upper edge, and a lower fitting attached to its lower edge. One guide fitting and one pivoted guide fitting assembly are attached to the upper fitting and two guide fitting assemblies, one pivoted, are attached to the lower fitting. The guide fitting and fitting assemblies slide in the guides. The pivoted guide fitting assemblies allow the subassemblies to pivot about an axis near one vertical edge. A roller is attached to each guide fitting assembly on the lower fitting and the rollers carry the weight of the panel subassemblies. One panel subassembly is permanently positioned at the retracted end of the guides. To retract the assembly the permanently positioned subassembly is opened and the others are sequentially moved to the retracted end and opened. The upper guide fitting assemblies are engaged by a leaf spring to lock the subassemblies in the retracted position. During assembly extension, as each subassembly is turned to re-engage the guides, a cam on the upper guide fitting assembly engages the end of the spring to unlock the subassembly. The lock springs are attached to the inner surface of the outer flange of the upper guide.
