摘要： A door light assembly in which a door light and interior and exterior molding members are secured in a door by an improved security clip. The clip is formed from a single piece of spring steel sheet metal and is adapted to be attached to the exterior molding member by means of a screw. Portions of the clip engage the adjacent edges of the door light and the door to hold the door light in place in the door, while other portions of the clip provide an attachment for the interior molding member. The resulting construction provides greater security since the exterior molding member is locked positively in place by means of screws, while at the same time the construction is aesthetically pleasing in that the screw heads are concealed.

摘要： Disclosed herein is a one-piece plastic molding clip which comprises a base plate, a resilient engaging arm extending from the one edge of and generally parallel to said plate and provided at the free end thereof with a molding-engaging snap catch and resilient receiving members protruding from the base plate to the front side thereof and resiliently engaging the edge of a plate glass. This molding clip fastens a plate glass and a molding to the frame of an automobile window, front or rear, by causing said base plate having an adhesive tape or similar fastening agent applied to the rear face thereof to be fastened to the window frame, supporting the edge of the plate glass on the resilient receiving members, inserting the molding adjacent the window frame and the rear face of the base plate and bringing the molding into fast engagement with the snap catch.

摘要： Glazing blocks for clamping a window-like panel within a frame having a base portion arranged outwardly of the peripheral edge of the panel, and an inwardly directed shoulder portion against which the panel edge is abutted. The block has a base rested upon the frame base portion, an inwardly directed flange opposing the frame shoulder portion for clamping the panel therebetween, and a wedge-like panel edge engaging tongue portion arranged between the peripheral edge of the panel and the frame base portion. A self-tapping screw extends through an opening formed through the block base and penetrates the frame base for securing the block thereto. Said opening is increasingly widened at an acute angle relative to the panel in the direction extending from the exposed surface of the block base towards the block base surface engaged against the frame base surface. Thus, when the block is positioned upon the frame base with its flange and tongue engaging the panel, a screw is inserted through the block opening to initially penetrate the frame base at an acute angle relative to the panel. Thereafter, the screw is tilted into rough parallelism to the panel to thereby move the block towards and clamp the panel against the frame shoulder portion, and the screw penetration into the frame base is then completed.
