    摘要: A door is provided that includes a door panel having a periphery and opposite first and second panel surfaces, stiles and rails collectively surrounding the panel, and sealant. The stiles have channeled stile surfaces extending across a thickness of the stiles and facing one another. The rails have channeled rail surfaces extending across a thickness of the rails and facing one another. The channeled stile surfaces and the channeled rail surfaces include channels with open ends that receive the periphery of the panel, first grooves positioned at first interfaces of the first panel surface and first edges of the open ends of the channels, and second grooves positioned at second interfaces of the second panel surface and second edges of the open ends of the channels. The sealant is received in the first and second grooves, preferably forming a water-proof seal.

    摘要: An arrangement for flush-mounting an insulated glass unit (IG) in a door opening may include at least one frame member configured to be positioned between the door skins along at least one edge of the door opening, and at least one glazing strip having body with a top surface and a bottom surface opposite the top surface and a flange extending away from the body at an acute angle relative to the top surface. With the IG positioned in the door opening and supported along one outer IG panel adjacent to one door skin, the flange is inserted into an opening or channel in the at least one frame member to bring the top surface of the body flush with the other door skin and to bring the bottom surface of the body into contact with an opposite outer IG panel to retain the IG in the opening.

    摘要: Disclosed is a sectional door adapted to withstand high wind load and impact from flying debris. The door includes a glazing bead to secure glazing panels into frames formed by the rails and stiles of the door. The bead is connected with the frame by engagement between extensions on the bead and respective lips along the edges of the frame. The bead is pressed against the frame, causing the extension to elastically flex to allow the extensions to fit between the lips. The extensions are received in gaps formed by the lips to secure the bead in place on the frame. Force on the door cause by high winds is communicated from the glazing panel through the bead and to the frame. The door also includes reinforcements arranged along the rails to communicate forces, such as high wind load forces, from the frame to the edges of the doorway surrounding the door. The reinforcements include endcaps that increase stiffness of the rails to prevent the rails from buckling during severe weather events.

A plugless locking system is configured to fit in the space between the window glass and the door slab. The plugless locking system has a first plugless lock is configured to receive an external trim and is configured to mate with a second plugless lock. The second plugless lock is configured to receive an interior trim. The combination of the mated first and second plugless lock fit within the space between the window glass and door slab and secure interior and exterior trim to the entry door. Also disclosed is a method for using the plugless locking system in an entry door.
