    摘要: A method is disclosed for determining a branching point within a hollow organ in image data representing the spatial structure thereof. In at least one embodiment, the method includes setting a start point within the hollow organ; determining at least one local threshold which corresponds to the presence of a wall of the hollow organ; carrying out a region growing method using the threshold; analyzing the connectivity of a number of outer growth layers; and localizing a branching on the basis of the connectivity analysis. Moreover, at least one embodiment of the invention relates to a correspondingly designed branching determination unit.

    摘要: A heat insulated entrance includes a door/window having a frame comprising an elongated, tubular, metal member having an inside wall and a wall transverse thereto with a rib formed adjacent a corner at the intersection of the walls. An elongated metal cladding member having a generally channel shaped transverse cross section with a web forming an inside wall face of the door/window and a pair of edge flanges transverse thereto is secured in place on the tubular metal member by a spacer formed of heat insulating material and having one edge in supported engagement with the rib of the tubular frame member. The cladding member has an opposite edge in keyed interengaging relation with an opposite edge of the spacer to complete an insulated frame member assembly having a thermally insulating spacer element between a pair of inside and outside metal portions. The door/window is useful in combination with a heat insulating wall frame system providing a jamb surface, header and sill forming an opening in which the door/window is mounted. The invention also encompasses the conversion of existing, non-insulating type doors/windows into more efficient, heat insulating type, closure members by the addition of insulating spacers and inside metal cladding members in accordance with the invention.

The first profile element includes guide channels for receiving two leg parts of the profile connecter element. The second profile element includes a U-shaped recess for receiving the profile connecter element. In the base, the profile connecter element and second profile element in the bottom of the U-shaped recess thereof respectively include at least one mounting opening corresponding to the fastening channel for passing the fastening element there-through. At least the second profile element is formed in several parts and includes two shell parts in the direction of interior and exterior rooms. The profile shell parts are connected to each other, yet thermally insulated.
