摘要: A toner for developing electrostatic charge images in which offset phenomenon and winding phenomenon do not occur in a wide temperature range, even if the binding resin contains the alicyclic olefinic resin, that is, a toner for developing electrostatic charge images which is superior in fixability in a high temperature range, and which is superior in melt contamination resistance, is provided.In the toner for developing electrostatic charge images comprises at least binder resin and colorant, the binding resin containing alicyclic olefinic resin (A) and thermoplastic elastomer (B). It is preferable that the alicyclic olefinic resin (A) be a copolymer comprising cyclic olefin (A1) and an acyclic unsaturated monomer (A2) as an element. Additionally, it is preferable that the melting point of the thermoplastic elastomer (B) be 60 to 190° C.

摘要: Broadly the invention provides for a deinkable toner composition, an image made with the deinkable toner, and a method for making the toner including a coloring agent; a thermoplastic polymer; and a protein. In another embodiment the toner includes a coloring agent and a thermoplastic polymer where the protein has been incorporated into the polymer itself. In typical embodiments the protein is derived from soybeans but may be from other plant or animal sources. Typically the toner has a positive triboelectric charge of between about 10 to about 40 microCoulomb/g, or a negative triboelectric charge of between about 10 to about 40 microCoulomb/g.

摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a developer having a sharp charge amount distribution and bringing out high-quality image without substantially smearing a charging unit, developing units, a photoconductor, and an intermediate transferring member by the developer, namely, a developer capable of providing an appropriate image density and exhibiting extremely little background smear even when used over a long period of time and repeatedly used for a number of sheets of paper as well as to provide an image forming apparatus for electrophotography using the developer.
