    摘要: A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card connecting device for a portable electronic device which is adapted to further reduce a thickness of the portable electronic device by limiting the height of the SIM card connecting device. The device includes: a printed circuit board (PCB); one or more patterned contacts provided on the PCB and being coupled with one or more contacts formed on the SIM card; and a housing mounted on the PCB for allowing the SIM card to be inserted into/extracted from the housing. The housing presses the inserted SIM card so that the contacts of the SIM card and the patterned contacts come into substantial pressurized contact and/or pressurized contact with each other, depending on a shape of the patterns. According to the present invention, the SIM card mounting space can be reduced, and the portable electronic device can have a further reduction in thickness.

    摘要: A SIM card holder includes a base (10) and a catching mechanism (20). The base defines a receiving groove (114) and a slot (110). The receiving groove is configured for receiving the SIM card therein. The base comprises a protrusion (108). The protrusion and the slot are arranged at two opposite sides of the receiving groove. The catching mechanism comprises a main board (201) having a bending piece (202) and a bending hem (204) at two opposite ends thereof. The bending piece is detachably engaged with the base, and the bending hem is constantly retained in the slot of the base. The main board comprises an elastic slice resisting the protrusion of the base when the bending piece being engaged with the base. The catching mechanism is movable relative to the base and rotatable about the end of the bending hem when the slice disengages from the protrusion.

In known embodiments of said devices, the flat construction thereof does not enable reliable contacting. The invention offers a solution for said problem by providing an automatic feed-in device having at least one driver (9), wherein the card reading device (1) has a guide comprising at least one first guide element (11) and a corresponding second guide element (12), the first guide element (11) being rigidly connected to the set of contacts (7) and the second guide element (12) being permanently connected to the driver (9). The second guide element (12) interacts with the first guide element (11) in such a way that the driver (9) is moved towards the contacts (8) when a movement in feed-in direction or opposite the feed-in direction in the direction of separation occurs.

    摘要: A drawer SIM card connector includes a housing base and a carrier. The housing base includes a bottom wall, a pair of side walls which form a receiving cavity, a pedestal formed on the bottom wall and extending upward into the receiving cavity, and a pair of guiding slots defined between the pedestal and the side walls. The carrier includes a pair of spaced apart sliding boards, a back board and a front board which form an opening in a central portion of the carrier. The carrier is slidably assembled within the receiving cavity of the housing base with the pedestal extending above the carrier through the opening and the sliding board being guided by the guiding slots. When the back board of the carrier is stopped by the pedestal, a further outward moving of the carrier is stopped, thereby preventing the carrier from falling off the connector.

    摘要: A SIM card retainer includes an installing base and a locking device. The installing base has a receiving space, which exposes a SIM card connector and is used for receiving the SIM card. The locking device has a fixing portion, a force-applying portion and a deformable portion. The locking device is disposed on the installing base so that the SIM card is fixed within the receiving space by the fixing portion and electrically connected to a SIM card connector. Applying a force on the force-applying portion, the deformable portion will deform elastically and the fixing portion will withdraw from the receiving space, so that the SIM card can be loaded into or unloaded from the installing base. The SIM card is fixed by removing the applying force from the force-applying portion to recover the original shape of the deformable portion and to return the fixing portion.
