Abstract:
A card reader includes: a shutter member closing off a card passageway; a shutter urging member urging the shutter member toward a closed position where the card passageway is closed off; and a lever member having: a card contact part with which a card coming into contact in a case where a width of the card is a regular width and a restriction part restricting operation of the shutter member at the closed position; and a lever urging member urging the lever member toward a restriction position where the restriction part restricts the operation of the shutter member. When the card comes into contact with the card contact part, a restricted state of the shutter member by the restriction part is released. When the card comes into contact with the shutter member and then the shutter member is pressed, the shutter member operates for allowing passage of the card.
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a card conveying mechanism capable of conveying a card in a horizontal direction and allowing for less space in a higher-level apparatus to be taken up even if the card conveying mechanism is capable of making the card parallel to the horizontal direction or tilting the card relative to the horizontal direction. The card conveying mechanism is provided with a card holder that has a draw and feed mechanism for drawing and feeding a card and temporarily holds the card therein, a draw and feed driving mechanism for driving the draw and feed mechanism, a carriage where the card holder is mounted, a carriage driving mechanism for moving the carriage linearly in a horizontal direction perpendicular to a direction in which the card is drawn into the card holder and a rotating mechanism for rotating the card holder with respect to the carriage around an axis in which the carriage moves.
Abstract:
A card reader may include an IC contact block; an insertion port; an insertion posture detection mechanism; a tip end detection mechanism; a pulling-out prevention mechanism structured to prevent pulling-out of a card inserted in an inside of the card reader when it is detected that the card is inserted into the insertion port in a correct posture based on a detected result of the insertion posture detection mechanism and, when it is detected that the tip end face of the card in the inserting direction has been inserted to the predetermined position based on a detected result of the tip end detection mechanism; and a pushing-out mechanism structured to push out the card inserted into the inside of the card reader in an ejecting direction of the card which is an opposite direction of the inserting direction.
Abstract:
A card reader for use with a mobile device includes a foot and/or a housing for a jack on the bottom of the card reader prevents the card reader from accidently turning off the mobile device during use.
Abstract:
A media processing device enables conveying media fed from different paths into a common path in a stable conveyance state to the scanning position of a scanner. A check processing device has a path switching member that selectively bridges a back path for conveying checks and a card path to a downstream path, which is a common path. The path switching member changes position and switches the connected paths in conjunction with movement of a shutter that covers the open part of a nozzle cap used to cap the nozzle face of the inkjet head at the back path.
Abstract:
Electronic devices are provided with ejectable component assemblies. Each ejectable component assembly may include a tray that can be loaded with one or more types of removable module, such as a mini-SIM card and a micro-SIM card, and inserted into the device. Each assembly may also include a base coupled to a circuit board for electrically coupling with the removable module, a cage for biasing the module down against the base, and a guide for retaining the module at a functional insertion position within the device.
Abstract:
A drawer-type SIM card structure and an electronic product is provided, and the drawer-type SIM card structure is mounted in the interior of a containing cavity of a housing of an electronic product, including: a containing means for carrying a subscriber identification module (SIM) card, which can be relatively slidably mounted in the interior of the containing cavity; a connector which is fixedly mounted in the interior of the containing cavity and configured to be in a fit connection with the SIM card within the containing means; and a sensor which is fixedly mounted in the interior of the containing cavity, electrically connected with the connector, and configured to control the connection and disconnection of the connector and SIM card according to the position of the containing means.
Abstract:
A chip card holder includes a single tray, a first latching member, and a second latching member and can accommodate two chip cards. The tray defines a receiving groove and includes a first latching end, a second latching end and two limiting plates. The first latching member and the second latching member are slidably engaged with the tray. When the first latching member abuts against the first latching end and the second latching member abuts against the second latching end, the first latching member, the second latching member and the two limiting plates are configured for positioning two chip cards. The first latching member and the second latching member can be slid relative to the tray to abut against the limiting plates also positioning and holding a single chip card.
Abstract:
A card reader may include a card insertion part which is formed with an insertion port into which the card is inserted; and a magnetic sensor which is provided in the card insertion part and is structured to detect whether magnetic data are recorded on the card or not. The magnetic sensor may be disposed so as to secure a space between the card inserted into the insertion port and the magnetic sensor. The magnetic data may be arranged in a longitudinal direction of the card. When viewed in a thickness direction of the card which is inserted into the insertion port, a magnetism detection direction of the magnetic sensor may be inclined with respect to a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
