摘要: An intelligent monitoring system for care place is illustrated. The system includes a thermal camera capturing a thermal image of the care place; an image processing unit obtaining user's position and number of user according to region in which temperature is higher than a preset temperature in the thermal image; a temperature recording unit extracting and records user's temperature from the thermal image. When there is only one user, a abnormal event determining unit of the system determines whether an abnormal event occurs according to user's temperature changing rate. When there are several users, the abnormal event determining unit determines whether the abnormal event occurs according to both of the temperature changing rates of the users and an average temperature of the users. If the abnormal event occurs, the warning unit generates a warning signal.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method and a system for fall detection. Measurement signals are received from a plurality of sensors to monitor user activities, the plurality of sensors including a motion sensor for collecting motion information and a biomedical sensor for collecting physiological information. According to a signal processing sequence, whether the measurement signals meet multiple qualifying conditions for a fall incident is determined. The multiple qualifying conditions include: a condition evaluating at least the motion information, and a condition evaluating at least the physiological information. The method further includes: when the measurement signals do not meet the multiple qualifying conditions, continuing to monitor the user activities; and when the measurement signals meet the multiple conditions, determining that a fall incident has occurred, and sending an alert message to a designated contact.

摘要: Human activity monitoring systems are mainly used for tracking and monitoring of activities of people. Constant monitoring is required in order to ensure that proper care is provided for each person when faced with events such as sudden health issues and the like emergencies. Existing systems require constant monitoring and are non-adaptive to constant habitual changes or peculiarities of an individual. Described herein is an activity monitoring method that generates activity data from the activities of a person within a defined area before analyzing the activity data to identify presence of anomaly therein based on recognizing deviation of the activity data from activity profile. The activity profile is indicative of the expected activity and behavior of the person

摘要: A system and method for monitoring an individual in a dwelling so as to know when such individual falls or indicates the need of assistance. A plurality of 3D motion and sound sensors are located in the dwelling and provide data to a computerized monitoring system. The sensors are configured to recognize one or more biometric identifiers of the individual being monitored. When the monitoring system detects that the individual has fallen or gestured, a computerized communication system contacts the individual to determine the need to send assistance to help the individual. Where assistance is required the system automatics contacts the previously designated caregiver for the individual and can also contact emergency personnel.

摘要: The present invention relates to a vehicle telematics device for driver monitoring for accident avoidance for drowsiness and distraction conditions. The distraction and drowsiness is detected by facial processing of driver's face and pose tracking as a function of speed and maximum allowed travel distance, and issuing a driver alert when a drowsiness or distraction condition is detected. The mitigation includes audible alert, as well as other methods such as dim blue night to perk up the driver. Adaptation center of driver's gaze direction and allowed maximum time for a given driver and camera angle offset as well as temporary offset for cornering for shift of vanishing point and other conditions is also performed.
