    摘要： An electronic device includes a radio tuner capable of receiving broadcast media contents and information about each of the broadcast media contents from a plurality of radio stations; a user communication interface configured for receiving from a user a list of desired broadcast media contents; a memory; and a processor. According to the invention the processor is responsible for accessing the list of desired broadcast media contents stored in the memory; the radio tuner is controlled to detect the radio stations to retrieve information of the broadcast media contents that are currently being, or are in the near future to be, broadcast from the radio stations; the retrieved information is compared with the list of desired broadcast media contents; and the user is alerted via the user communication interface if the comparison reveals that a broadcast media content that is currently being, or are in the near future to be, broadcast is comprised in the list of desired broadcast media contents.

    摘要： In each embodiment of this invention, when the precondition information of a broadcast program is cut on the viewer side, the use of the broadcast program is limited. A broadcasting system includes a broadcasting apparatus which sequentially transmits first broadcast data containing first control information and second broadcast data containing second control information over the same channel, and a receiving apparatus which executes, upon sequentially loading of the first and second broadcast data, processing based on the first control information and second control information on the basis of an input command. With this arrangement, when first or second broadcast data is precondition information and the precondition information of a broadcast program is cut on the viewer side, since first or second control information is omitted, the use of the broadcast program can be limited.

Two sets of WM (watermark) data, a WM1 data set and a WM2 data set are prepared. For the WM1 data, data representing that the content data is package media data or distribution data, SCMS information, data representing that the content data is recorded in a disk or a semiconductor memory, and data representing the type of disk or semiconductor memory are set. For the WM2 data, the distribution time or the year and date is set as time information representing time when the content data is recorded. According to the WM1 or WM2 data, a data reproducing device (1) controls reproduction most suitably as copyright holder's intention.

In one example, a user is enabled to record received media content by pressing a single “ADD” button at any time while a favorite song is being received and played. The song then being played together with the title of the song or video presentation are then saved to memory for subsequent retrieval and playing. The received content is accounted for and tabulated and a payment for the use of the recorded song is processed by the user in accordance with a predetermined payment schedule.
