Provided is a cartridge for an inhaler. The cartridge includes: a housing including an accommodation space capable of accommodating a liquid, an air flow passage, and a partition member partitioning the accommodation space and the air flow passage in a longitudinal direction; and a heater configured to be capable of heating the liquid and arranged in the air flow passage. The partition member includes an opening opened in a transverse direction to bring the accommodation space into communication with the air flow passage. The opening includes an upstream-side opening edge and a downstream-side opening edge. The partition member includes an upstream-side end and a downstream-side end. A distance between the upstream-side opening edge and the upstream-side end is smaller than a distance between the downstream-side opening edge and the downstream-side end.-

摘要: The present invention relates to an electrical heating assembly of an aerosol-generating device for resistively heating an aerosol-forming substrate. The heating assembly comprises a control circuit configured to provide an AC driving current. The heating assembly further comprises an electrically resistive heating element for heating the aerosol-forming substrate. The heating element is operatively coupled with the control circuit and configured to heat up due to Joule heating when passing an AC driving element provided by the control circuit current through the heating element. The present invention further relates to an aerosol-generating device for use with an aerosol-forming substrate, wherein the aerosol-generating device comprises a heating assembly according to the invention. The invention also provides a method for resistively heating an aerosol-forming substrate by passing an AC driving current through a resistive heating element.

The processing device is configured to detect adhesion of a liquid to the second load or entry of the liquid into the conductive portion. When the adhesion or the entry is detected, the processing device executes at least one of a notification action that causes the notification unit to execute a notification and a first fail-safe action including prevention of discharging from the power supply to the second load.

摘要: An aerosol generating device defines a first flow path from an air inlet to an outlet, and a second, separate flow path from the (or another) air inlet to the outlet. The device includes a container for aerosol generating material, a heating element arranged to heat the material to generate, in the first flow path, a flow of aerosol; and the (or another) heating element arranged to heat inlet air from the air inlet or the other air inlet to generate, in the second flow path, a flow of heated air.
