    Abstract: An aerosol provision system 1 comprises a battery 16 for providing power to an aerosol generator 40 and a sensor for generating sensor data over a predetermined period of time. Control circuitry 18 is configured to process the sensor data and charge level data relating to the charge level in the battery 16 to determine whether a notification should be generated. In response to determining that the notification should be generated, the control circuitry 18 generates a notification signal for output from an output device 200, which may be a suggestion to recharge the battery 16 in a predetermined different way to improve the performance of the battery 16 in the longer term. The sensor may comprise a temperature sensor, and the notification may suggest to recharge the battery in a warmer or a cooler location. Alternatively, the suggestion may be not to recharge the battery for so long or not to interrupt charging until the battery is fully charged.

    Abstract: A charger for charging an aerosol-generating device is provided, the charger including: a housing defining a cavity to receive the device to be charged, the cavity having an opening; at least one electrical contact disposed in the cavity; and a cover slidable relative to the opening between open and closed positions, an inner surface of the cover facing the cavity when the cover is in the closed position, at least a portion of the inner surface of the cover defines a profiled engagement member having a leading edge and a trailing edge, and the profiled engagement member slopes into, or towards, the cavity when the respective moveable element is in the closed position, the slope increasing in a direction from the leading to the trailing edge. An aerosol-generating system including the charger and the device, and a method of using the system are also provided.

    Abstract: An electronic smoking device (10) includes a power supply portion (12) comprising a power supply (18) as well as an atomizer/liquid reservoir portion (14) comprising a refillable liquid reservoir (34) adapted for storing a liquid, and an atomizer (26) operable when connected to the power supply (18) to atomize liquid stored in the liquid reservoir (34). The atomizer/liquid reservoir portion (14) comprises a liquid filling channel (40) and an air outlet channel (42) at least partially separate from the liquid filling channel (40). The liquid filling channel (40) communicates with the liquid reservoir (34) and is configured to let pass liquid received from outside the electronic smoking device (10) into the liquid reservoir (34). The air outlet channel (42) communicates with the liquid reservoir (34) and is configured to let pass air out of the liquid reservoir (34).

    Abstract: A re-fillable liquid tip or pod for a vaping device that includes capacitive sensor plates in the tip liquid reservoir. A liquid re-filling device provides liquid to the vaping device, drawn from a refill bottle; the re-filling device includes a capacitance measuring circuit; a microcontroller uses the data from the capacitance measuring circuit to determine if the level of liquid in the tip liquid reservoir is above or below a threshold level; if below, then a liquid pump in the re-filling device is activated to draw liquid from the refill bottle and pump it through the vaping device and up into the tip liquid reservoir. Pumping ceases once the liquid reaches the threshold level.

    Abstract: A vaporizing device includes a center post, a cartridge with a hollow interior to receive the center post and an oil, a sled connectable to the cartridge, and a mouthpiece connectable to a proximal end of the center post and a proximal end of the cartridge. The mouthpiece may include a body having a substantially planar face and a curved face opposite the substantially planar face, where the curved face tapers to meet the substantially planar face at a proximal end of the body, and the curved face together with the substantially planar face form a vapor outlet. A cut-away defined in a distal edge of the body of the mouthpiece may be complementary to an extension of an external housing of the vaporizing device. The mouthpiece also includes an internal vapor pathway defined within the body, the internal vapor pathway being offset from the center post.
