Abstract:
A wall assembly includes at least one horizontally extending rail having a rear surface adapted to engage the wall. A plurality of horizontally spaced and vertically extending stiles are coupled to the rail, with the stiles disposed forwardly of the rear surface of the rail. A plurality of interface components are coupled to the plurality of stiles. In various embodiments, the stiles may be interconnected to draw together adjacent interface components. The interface components also may include overlapping upper and lower edges. The stiles may be vertically and/or horizontally (laterally and longitudinally) adjustable relative to the rail. A lock member may be provided to secure at least one of the stiles to the rail. Various systems and methods of assembly and use are also provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a special urban transformation center comprising a concrete support body (1) on which a cabinet made of sheet metal and vinyl ester (2) is placed and eyebolts (4) for placement thereof, which are located in the upper part. The plates (15) have locating elements for the low voltage and remote control panels. A base is also provided for leveling the steel outer structure. It also comprises an internal/external skeleton reinforced with crossbeams and four columns (20). The invention also has a polyester closing cover (6).
Abstract:
A table top (1) comprising a pellucid top panel (3) and at least one pellucid display panel (13), the display panel bearing a design or script. A light source is provided to illuminate the design or script on the display panel such that it is visible through the top panel permitting the design to have a high visual impact when viewed through the top panel. The table top (1) is suitable for displaying advertising material particularly in a bar, shop, restaurant or club environment. The table top may form part of a table or may be incorporated into a bar or counter.
Abstract:
A cubicle work space organizer is provided in the form of an accessory support surface having a first portion defined by a shelf with leading and trailing edges and a light transmissible region therebetween and a second portion defined by an outwardly projecting tray with both portions being supported from a cubicle wall by the releasable coupling of a rearwardly projecting mounting bracket to a set of vertically aligned, cubicle wall retention slots to position the accessory support surface between a desktop and a lighting source for selectively removing accessories from the desktop and organizing them on the accessory support surface while enabling the transmission of light onto the desktop through at least a portion of the shelf.
Abstract:
Among other things, a mounting system is provided comprising at least one column having top and bottom ends and defining a vertical axis. Each column has internal wall portions which define at least one channel therein extending parallel to its vertical axis, an outer channel portion opening to its exterior surface, and an inner channel portion extending inwardly. Mounting brackets, each having a first detent member, are positionable within the channel, and engagable with the internal wall portions for fixing themselves against rotation. A longitudinal rail member is slidably positionable within the channel parallel to the vertical axis and has a first set of indexing means arranged along it. At least one support bracket has a main body portion and a second set of one or more indexing means thereon matable with the first set so as to releasably mount the support bracket on the column in indexed relation thereto.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a privacy booth comprising at least two partition members having first and second terminal ends; and at least two linking members having first and second opposed ends, each second terminal end of the partition member and each first opposed end of the linking members forming a first pivotable coupling, each first terminal end of the partition members and each second opposed end of the linking member forming a second pivotable coupling, the privacy booth being operable between a deployed state, in which adjacent partition members are spaced-apart to define a respective compartment therebetween, and a storage state in which adjacent partition members are substantially parallel with one another, and preferably flat packed against one another.
Abstract:
Some embodiments of the present invention employ a modular room including a plurality of modular room components (e.g., anchor assemblies, upright assemblies, etc.). These anchor assemblies and upright assemblies can take different forms permitting assembly of a modular room or modular structure in different manners, and in some cases provide for interchangeable interior and exterior wall panels and components. In some embodiments, a bracket assembly is coupled to an substantially vertical elongated upright for improved strength and stability. Preferably, the anchor assembly has a base plate with at least one edge at an angle with respect to the rest of the base plate for additional strength. If desired, the vertical position of the upright with respect to the base plate can be adjusted. In some embodiments, one or more overhead trusses are used to stabilize the walls of a modular room.
Abstract:
A workstation (desk) 7 that can be assembled or disassembled without the use of tools or fasteners, mounted on casters 40, with adjustable integrated privacy enclosure panels 8, 10, 12, 14. In an open plan work environment a user of the workstation (desk) can create private, semi private and open personal workspace by pivoting the integrated privacy enclosure panels 8, 10, 12, 14, easily roll the workstation (desk) 7 to another location without disturbing other workstations (desks) 7, and create new workstation (desk) 7 configurations by connecting workstation together using the integrated privacy enclosure panels 8, 10, 12, 14 as common connecting elements. Thus a considerably more versatile workstation is provided that can enable users the ability to immediately create a multitude of workstation configurations and arrangements to suit their long term and immediate needs.
Abstract:
A design layout kit including a plurality of furniture or appliance patterns, wherein each of the patterns defines a 2-dimensional image corresponding to a life-size piece of furniture, appliance, or garage item. The patterns can be used to plan the layout of such items in a selected floor area. In one embodiment, the design layout kit takes the form of an article of manufacture including: a package; a plurality of foldable sheets contained in the package, wherein each of the sheets defines a 2-dimensional shape corresponding to a life-size household piece of furniture, item found in a garage, or item found in an office; and information printed on the package, wherein the information describes how the foldable sheets can be laid out on a selected floor area and used to plan or determine what life-size furniture or other objects can be accommodated in the selected floor area.
