Abstract:
A composition for treating wood-based material including at least one C1-C7 monocarboxylic acid salt or C1-C7 monocarboxylic acid or a mixture thereof as active agent against deteriation of wood. The composition also includes alkyd emulsion of high unsaturated fatty acid content and/or aluminum ion containing compound in the form of polyaluminum formate in a same aqueous liquid carrier as the C1-C7 monocarboxylic acid salt or C1-C7 monocarboxylic acid or a mixture thereof.
Abstract:
Superior Skid Splitter is designed to lift, split, and load firewood logs, effectively eliminating the need for physical labor when handling and processing the wood. The device features an adjustable, hydraulic wood splitter containing a plate assembly with a six-way cutter head on its underside. The unit can be attached to a skid loader or a tractor, allowing it to lift a single large log and split it into six smaller pieces. It can also be designed to grab and carry long lengths of logs to load onto trucks or trailers, and may load pieces of split wood into receptacles because of its relative orientation.
Abstract:
A system and method for profiling and manufacturing curved arches includes cutting out the outer dimensions of individual curved sections from sheet material, each curved section including an outer radius, an inner radius, a top surface, a bottom surface, a male end and a corresponding female end. Assembling together the individual curved sections by joining interferingly end to end male ends with female ends to form an assembled curved section. Milling a profile into the top surface of the assembled curved section thereby resulting in an assembled curved section with a profiled top surface.
Abstract:
Method of manufacturing multi piece curved molding from planar material including the steps of, milling locating holes in the bottom side of sheet material proximate ends of curved sections, milling curved section from sheet material including the finished outer radius, the finished inner radius and milled ends, milling the profile to produce the profiled top side on curved section, placing locating holes in corresponding locating pins in a precision cut off fixture and precision cutting ends of curved section thereby producing a precision cut end and discarding waste portion.
Abstract:
A method of processing a wooden piece includes making holes each having a bottom in a wooden piece; softening the wooden piece with the holes; and compressing the softened wooden piece to deform the wooden piece into a predetermined shape.
Abstract:
A method and a system for glulams fabrication, comprising obtaining wood pieces of a target length from raw materials; and assembling them into structural timbers of a target thickness in a continuous line, whereby moisture content, end joints, mixing and applying of adhesives, glue line pressure and clamping time are continuously controlled.
Abstract:
Method for manufacturing floor panels with coupling parts, wherein the contour of this coupling part (6) is composed of at least two portions (18-19), characterized in that the method is applied for manufacturing at least two series (7-8) of floor panels (1), wherein the floor panels (1) in a first series (7) differ from the floor panels (1) in a second series (8) at least in that they have a different thickness (T) and that said two portions (18-19) in said series (7-8) of floor panels (1) are realized globally identical, however, mutually shifted.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a mechanism and method for providing above the table securing/unsecuring of a router motor housing. The mechanism of the present invention employs a mechanical connection included on a pivot member to couple with a wrench device extended through the tabletop. The mechanism permits a user to adjust or release the motor housing without having to reach under the table surface.
Abstract:
A wood product assembly includes a cutter subassembly and a skewing assembly. A cutter positioning body is movable by a slewing assembly along a slewing axis. A spindle housing is mounted to the cutter positioning body for pivotal movement about a pivot axis. A spindle, to which a cutter, such as a sawblade or chipper head, is affixed, is mounted to the spindle housing for rotation about a spindle rotation axis by a cutter driver. The skewing assembly is coupled to the spindle housing to position the spindle rotation axis to a selected angular orientation to position the cutter at a selected skew angle. In some examples the cutter driver comprises a drive source fixedly secured to a frame and an extendable length universal-joint driveline assembly.
Abstract:
A wood chipper includes a control system for controlling feed wheel rotation and engine operation to provide safety features and a fuel-saving mechanism. The control system allows the engine to start only when the feed wheel is in neutral; stops and/or reverses rotation of the feed wheel in response to an increased load on the engine; and dethrottles the engine if the feed wheel remains in neutral for a predetermined period of time. A pair of electric switches are activatable by the feed bar whereby an electronic control unit (ECU) can determine the position of the feed bar based on activation or non-activation of the switches and control the feed wheel and engine in light thereof. The ECU controls a pair of directional control valves via respective solenoids to control flow of hydraulic fluid to control rotation of a feed motor which drives the feed wheel.
