    摘要: Apparatus and methods for autonomously shifting a downhole sliding sleeve. A shift tool includes a shifter arm, an artificial neural network, and a control circuit. The artificial neural network is trained to identify engagement of the shifter arm with a shifting feature of a sliding sleeve. The control circuit is configured to extend the shifter arm at a first pressure for seeking engagement with the shifting feature of the sliding sleeve, and responsive to the artificial neural network recognizing engagement of the shifter arm with the shifting feature of the sliding sleeve, extend the shifter arm at a second pressure for shifting the sliding sleeve.

First and second roller wheel sections have at least two freely rotating roller wheels extending out from a sidewall of the housing. An attachment for a tool string is fixed to one of the roller wheel sections. A main section with a retractable propulsion wheel and at least one actuator for actuating the propulsion wheel between an extended position, out from the sidewall of the housing, and a retracted position, inside the housing, is located between the first roller wheel section and the second roller wheel section. A method of actuating a pipeline pulling tool is also disclosed.

    摘要: A hydraulic jetting assembly is provided herein. The jetting assembly includes a jetting hose, with a jetting nozzle at its distal end. The jetting nozzle comprises a tubular stator body having a fluid discharge slot, and a tubular rotor body residing within a bore of the stator body. The jetting nozzle has one or more bearings residing between the stator body and the surrounding rotor body to accommodate relative rotational movement. The jetting nozzle includes a proximal end configured to sealingly connect to an end of a jetting hose, and to receive a high pressure jetting fluid. Preferably, the nozzle has an outer diameter that is equivalent to or slightly larger than an outer diameter of the jetting hose. Preferably, the jetting assembly has at least three actuator wires configured to induce a controlled bending moment at its distal end, thereby providing for a steerable downhole tool. Jetting collars may be placed along the jetting hose to overcome drag force.

The retrievable string is to be disposed in the completion string, the retrievable string including a rotor for receipt within the electrical stator and to rotate in response to electromagnetic fields generated by the stator, an impeller coupled to the rotor, a housing to surround the impeller, and a recirculation isolator coupled to the housing. The recirculation isolator includes a sealing element and a locking tool, where the sealing element sealingly engages with the completion string, and the locking tool positions the retrievable string in the completion string and detachably couples the retrievable string to the completion string. The locking tool includes a rotational locking feature to engage an indexing receptacle of the completion string.

    摘要: A wellbore tractor is capable of being positioned in a wellbore that includes a cased section, a first uncased section downhole of the cased section, and a second uncased section downhole of the first uncased section. The wellbore tractor is capable of self-propelling itself through the wellbore. An anchoring system is connected to the wellbore tractor. The anchoring system includes an appendage. When the wellbore tractor is in the cased section, the anchoring system is capable of extending the appendage from the cased section through the first uncased section into the second uncased section, anchoring the appendage in the second uncased section, and guiding the wellbore tractor from the cased section past the first uncased section and into the second uncased section.
