Abstract: Disclosed is a tunneling apparatus for use in a pipe jacking method, the tunneling apparatus including an excavating apparatus (1), a head front-end track (2), a central track (3) and a rear apparatus (4), wherein the excavating apparatus (1) is composed of a transmission apparatus (1-1) and a cutter (5), the transmission apparatus (1-1) being composed of a driving apparatus (1-1-1) and a sprocket (1-1-3); during construction, the chain cutter (5) for excavating rock and earth runs on the head front-end track (2) and the central track (3), and the shape of a head excavation face is the same as that of the cross section of a tube section (6); the rear apparatus (4) comprises a jacking apparatus (4-1), mounted in a construction well; the front end of the central track (3) is connected to the head front-end track (2), the tail end of the central track (3) is connected to the rear apparatus (4), and during construction, the driving apparatus (1-1-1) drives the chain cutter (5), so that the chain cutter (5) runs along the tracks; and a cutter on the head front-end track (2) excavates the ring-shaped rock and earth in a projection part of the cross section of the tube section (6). In a work well, an operating platform is constructed, and the impact on the surrounding environment is low. The head of a first tube section (6) is an excavating face of the excavating apparatus (1), excavated rock and earth are driven along with the chain cutter (5) into the work well, the tube section (6) is ejected into position and then the rock and earth are cleared in the tube section (6), construction is simple, quality is good, the construction period is short, and costs are low.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a loaded-to-frame detection equipment for backfill grouting of a shield tunnel, including an automatic loaded-to-frame transmission apparatus, a ground penetrating radar, and an intelligent backfill grouting processing and analysis software. The equipment is integrated by using software and hardware, and can implement real-time visual detection of a backfill grouting layer in a shield construction process. The loaded-to-frame automatic transmission apparatus mainly includes a track, a synchronous belt, a transmission mechanism, a servo machine, and a drive and reducer; and a new air-coupled radar detection apparatus is carried on the loaded-to-frame automatic transmission apparatus and is installed on a shield frame. With the shield performs tunneling, circular detection on a grouting body of the shield and visual layered display of the grouting body are implemented.

Abstract: A system and method for drilling a borehole using a drilling rig having a rotary drill bit includes monitoring one or more drilling parameters; determining whether the one or more monitored drilling parameters are within predetermined specifications for one or more of the monitored drill parameters; and, executing an exception control procedure for control of a drilling parameter. The exception control procedure receives an input sensor value associated with a drilling parameter and applies feedback control to establish a scaled error value that is used to compute a setting value for the drilling parameter. The drilling parameters controlled may include the rotation speed of the drill bit, the feed rate of the drill bit, the weight-on-bit, or rotation torque during retraction of the drill bit. A computer-readable database of specifications of drill bits may be provided as a part of the system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a grouting apparatus. In detail, the present invention provides a grouting apparatus which injects a reinforcing material into an object in which an injection hole into which the reinforcing material is injected is formed, the grouting apparatus including: a pumping unit which pumps the reinforcing material to be injected into the object; an injection pipe which has one side connected to the pumping unit, and the other side inserted into the injection hole, and injects the reinforcing material conveyed by the pumping unit into the object; a vibration generating unit which generates vibration; and a vibration wire which has one end coupled to the vibration generating unit, and the other end extending along the injection pipe and coupled to a tip of the injection pipe, and transmits the vibration generated by the vibration generating unit to the injection pipe.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming a tunnel structure at a relatively shallow depth from the surface, which tunnel can be used as a replacement or additional transport route to an existing transport route (2) which is already formed on the surface. The method comprises the steps of forming two spaced apart access tunnels, installing piles (15), installing slide tracks (17) in each of the tunnels, removing a part of the tunnels (hatched portion) to expose the tracks, introducing units (22) comprising side walls portions (26, 28) and a roof section (30) by moving the units along the tracks while excavating the soil in which the tunnel is to be formed is in advance of the leading edge of the units.
