摘要: A water pump for a vehicle includes a shaft for receiving rotational power from the engine; an impeller mounted on the shaft to pump the coolant discharged from the engine; and a housing where the shaft and the impeller are embedded, disposed in a direction opposite to the direction to which the shaft is connected with respect to the impeller to have a coolant inflow passage, into which the coolant discharged from the engine flows, formed therein, disposed along the edge of the impeller to have a coolant discharge passage for discharging the coolant pumped by the impeller to the heat exchanging means formed therein, and disposed in the direction to which the shaft is connected to have a bypass passage for discharging the coolant to the engine formed therein, and the housing has a connecting passage for connecting the coolant inflow passage and the bypass passage formed therein.

摘要: A structure is mounted in a water jacket for a cylinder block of an engine. The structure includes a body forming a housing mounting portion including a panel formed in an arc shape so as to have inner and outer curved surfaces to be surrounded by a block bore. A pad-housing is formed in a plate shape to have curved surfaces with a curvature equal to the inner and outer curved surfaces of the housing mounting portion. The pad-housing is inserted into a housing mounting hole and is formed in a shape to correspond with the housing mounting hole. A pad is formed in a shape to correspond with a pad mounting hole which is bored through the pad-housing through. The pad has a curved surface and is inserted into the pad mounting hole to achieve water tightness.

The cooling system has: a tail cone inlet defined through a wall of the tail cone and fluidly communicating with an environment; a wall inlet defined through a firewall of the engine compartment; a blower within the engine compartment and having a blower inlet and a blower outlet, the blower inlet fluidly communicating with the environment via the tail cone inlet, via the wall inlet, and via an interior of the engine compartment; a blower outlet defined through a wall of the aircraft and fluidly communicating with the environment; and a cooling flow path extending from the tail cone inlet to the air outlet and across the wall inlet, the cooling flow path in heat exchange relationship with the power plant.

摘要: An internal combustion engine includes a state determination device. The state determination device includes a storage device and an execution device. The execution device executes an acquisition process, and a determination process. The execution device executes a guard process of bringing an internal combustion engine state variable closer to an allowable range or a value within the allowable range when the internal combustion engine state variable acquired in the acquisition process is out of the predetermined allowable range. The execution device determines the state of the internal combustion engine based on the internal combustion engine state variable after the guard process in the subsequent determination process when the guard process is executed.
